Thanks for putting 'CalgaryNEVER' on this video. An interesting plan but the CA$1 Billion price tag covered by taxpayers killed the plan. Sadly, the Flames Plan B proposal will soon be dead too. I wish Calgary could figure out how to replace a garbage dump (McMahon Stadium) and a condemned building (Saddledome) and fans might be happy.
You should do a video about flags. Greenland has a weird one. The United States almost went with the Snake an “ don’t tread on me” slogan on a white field.
The red in the stars of the New Zealand flag has cultural significance to the Maori. Red was one of the few plant based colours used in New Zealand by the native Maori prior to European settlement. The lack of Australian consideration to indeginous significance, was one of the main factors why New Zealand refused to join the formation of the Commonwealth of Australia. Plus the New Zealand flag first existed in 1869 (officially recognized in 1902), whereas the Australian flag didn't even exist until 1902 (officially recognized in 1954). So maybe the question should be; why did Australia use only "white" in their stars - prehaps there are evil reasons behind that?🤔
This one for the Buffalo Bills would look good too. It may be built one day, but as of this time, it doesn't look like it will happen. There is also some talk of them purchasing land near Niagara Falls, but that seems like a bluff to get a better deal from Erie county. Bills owners have also purchased a large amount of land near the current hockey arena (where they own the Sabres), so they are heavily invested in a downtown stadium and revitalization project - www.stadiumsofprofootball.com/stadiums/buffalo-bills-stadium/
And literally hours after I make this post, news has come out that the Bills are moving forward with a new stadium, with rumors it being in Orchard Park, and a different design than the above. Damn
