You two are HILARIOUS!! Looove your vibe! We are drooling over these delicious fajitas! Love the live juice addition, these really do look restaurant quality!!!! Awesome job to our fav twins!!👏🔥😁
Awesome fajitas, super simple, great toppings and honestly nailed it! That punch of lime is key to give it some acidic fresh taste. Keep on griddling brothers!
I’m so excited! I just got my 36” Blackstone 4 days ago!!!! I have seasoned and used it 3 times for the obvious..breakfast, burgers & kabobs...but fajitas is at the top of my List!!! I can’t wait to try these! Thanks Guys!!! Looking forward to checking out your Channel and other Vids!!!
Oh yay!! Congratulations on the Blackstone! We freaking love this thing!! These fajitas were sooo fun to make! We really love sharing what we learn, reach out if you have any questions!🤗🤗
You guys are terrific! I love (as well as my family) your simple and easy to follow recipes, tips and tricks! You really need to get invited to do a Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives and Backyards episode!! Keep'em coming! Okay, I modified his TV series name a bit!

Just bought a blackstone a couple of weeks ago and just did smash burgers a couple of nights ago, and I just came across this episode and I will be making Fajitas tomorrow night. Thank you for the great content and Y'all ROCK - Just earned another subscriber! Can wait to try more recipes from y'all!
Wow, thank you so much fam! Congratulations on the new Blackstone! We love griddle cooking and sharing what we learn - we really appreciate the subscribing fam! GRIDDLE ON!🤙🤙
Hey man, thank you so much! We have always appreciated your support. It has been crazy, and this past weekend brought 6,000 subs (and counting). It’s surreal!
You guys are awesome just got my grill Blackstone going to make steak and chicken fajitas with your recipe for Mother’s Day. Keep it going guys you’re awesome J back in the day.
Wahoo!! Thank you SO MUCH for the kind words!! We appreciate the love! The fajitas are always a hit!! We’ll keep it up for sure fam, take care and GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥🤙🤙
I've overcooked them for years honestly. Cooking some shrimp fajitas tomorrow. I am going to nail it thanks to this video. Fresh ingredients are the ticket. And a blackstone.
First, Brett I'll let you make mine when I stop by :) If Only!!!! Adam, you can make my 3rd one LOL!!! These fajita's look (and smell I would imagine) AMAZING! Another Great cook for me to copy on my Blackstone, thanks guys and hope you're having a Great Week!!!
Another Great instructional vid, thank you. A tip for your viewers. When you slice up whatever steak ahead of time. If you marinate the meat in Lime juice for an hour+ before cooking. The acidic Lime juice acts as a natural tenderizor. As you mentioned, fresh from the bottle Lime juice enhances the taste of the cooked steak. [Lemon juice works the same for chicken and fish].
Thank you so much for watching Bill! These were so good! And we really B appreciate that tip! We will definitely have to put it to good use for sure! Griddle on brother!!!😁🤙❤️
Holy cow guys! Those look absolutely amazing!! You're the new reason my wife hates the internet (also the reason my grocery bill has gone up since I found your videos) Keep it up my Brothers!!
Fantastic video. I'm learning a lot of techniques from y'all, and many of my cooks are coming out amazing! Keep rockin the blackstone griddle videos! 🤘🤘🤙
Wow, thank you so much fam! We love griddle cooking! We recently switched to the Pit Boss griddles, it no worries, we have a ton of cooks and our new stuff will still be doable on the Blackstone!! Cheers fam and GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥🤙🤙
I got a Blackstone 3 weeks ago and only cooked on it twice (one is my famous Teppanyaki shrimp and chicken with fried rice and veggies. Tastes exactly like Japanese steakhouse!) And the other was hamburgers and they were lame. I am definitely trying this recipe! Although because of meatflation I'm going to have to use flat iron but I am going to marinate it in the lime juice mix about an hour before cooking as recommended in the comments. Can't wait, and you guys rock!
Oh awesome, and yes!! The meat hurt is real, right?! The marinade should definitely help soften the flat iron steak, but it’s gonna be so good fam!! Thank you for watching, GRIDDLE ON!!💙💙🔥🔥
LOVED this video! When my husband and I were looking for a fajita video, I told him, “Let’s watch this one. These guys look like they know what they’re doing.” JAJAJAJAJA. I can’t wait to try this. Tender fajitas are one of my all time favorites. New subscriber! We got our Blackstone griddle yesterday and brought it camping with us today. Happy Thanksgiving, y’all. And thank you for this great recipe. God bless y’all!
Wow no way! This is the best!😂😂 Thank you so much for watching and for this amazing comment! Congratulations on the new Blackstone! We officially partner with Pit Boss now, but still love Blackstone and all griddle cooking - for sure let us know if you ever have any questions! Happy Thanksgiving to you all, safe camping!!🔥🔥
Love your videos! I’ve been contemplating buying a griddle for some time and took the plunge this weekend. Tonight is fajita night with Mexican Caesar salad!! Can’t wait!
I was the fajita master last night thanks to this video. I finally mixed up a batch of "The Usual Suspects" as you intended and received rave reviews. Not sure if it was the fajitas or your guac recipe but dinner was spot on. Love your videos! Keep 'em coming.
Haha!! Thank you for this!! The comment just totally made our day! We love the Usual Suspects, but I think you knocked it out of the ballpark on your own accord! Great work man!! GRIDDLE ON!🤙🤙
Some delicious looking shenanigans going on there tonight guys. I’m so proud of you for the way your channel has blown up! You deserve it! You’re entertaining but not silly. Nice work brothers. Keep em coming! 🍻🍷🥩🥓🥂
As an alternative you can also marinate the meat in a lime marinade for 2 + hours. Imparts flavor and makes beef tender. I never measure but about quarter cup lime juice along with some olive oil and a splash of water ,cumin, garlic, onion maybe some cayenne. And Cilantro. Love your videos ❤️
Oh yeah!! That sounds amazing - we definitely want to do a good marinade before next time - I’m sure it takes it to a whole new level! Thank you so much for watching! Take care and GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥🤙🤙
I never knew before tonight, but I suffer from fajita envy! As always, amazing cook, amazing food! You guys ALWAYS swing for the fences! Grill on, dudes!
I let my meat and veggies (separate) marinade in Worcester and EVOO with fajita seasoning for about 45-60 mins prior to cooking them on my Blackstone. When I cook them I lay butter down on griddle makes it taste so much better (my opinion) then squeeze lime juice while cooking. Yours looked delicious!
Oh man!! Yes! Okay, this for sure won’t be the last fajitas we do, and we are totally doing your way next time! Do you do the same with chicken and shrimp?
If you like using butter, try Ghee. It is rendered butter so the milk fat has been removed. Very high smoke point and absolutely great to cook with, especially on the Blackstone. The easiest way to make your own Ghee is to place 2 pounds of butter in a clear deep Pyrex dish and place it in the oven at 250 degrees for about an hour. Go slow and you will see it form three distinct layers. Skim off the top crust then slowly ladle off the middle “Ghee” layer without disturbing the milk fats that are settled on the bottom. Enjoy!
I just made these fajitas after watching your video. I have never had any better in a restaurant. I had to do a little searching for your Usual suspects seasoning but all I can say is it was worth it. You guys Rock. I used New York strip leftover from last night but it was great. Love your videos
Oh yay!! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing the success!! We’re so happy for you! Sorry it was hard to find the Usual Suspect recipe - let us know if you ever have any other questions! Take care fam!!😄😄🔥🔥
Nice job fellas, looks like you chose a street size fajita shell. I use the mission brand which are slightly bigger to stuff it like Brett's. Overall an outstanding cook
Thank you so much man! These are close to the street taco size, these are also Mission which we love, but the fajita size - we want to do a “street taco” cook soon using the mission tortillas!🤙🤙
My oldest son wants to try these so we went to the store and got all the ingredients including the usual suspects or at least the adobo we were missing and go figure this is one of the videos that has that mix listed 😂 and I just asked you guys yesterday. Can’t wait to cook with my boys tonight and try these. Wasn’t sure which adobo to buy so got the one without pepper or cumin in it. Great video as always stay safe stay humble, GRIDDLE ON!
Wahoo!! Yes!!! I actually prefer the Adobe without pepper - my family doesn’t care fo as much pepper and I’ve found it’s the perfect mix, although either work great! So happy you guys are trying this! Let us know Thor thoughts fam, GRIDDLE ON!!🔥🔥🤙🤙
@@waltwins so we just finished eating we made some chicken fajitas and beef and they were both amazing the house is split on which were better. That usual suspects seasoning… absolutely amazing I’ll be putting it on the steaks on Sunday when we have family over. Man you guys need to patent this stuff, that was a big hit! Thank you so much for sharing your take on griddle food. I am learning a lot from you guys. GRIDDLE ON!
Wahoo!! This is the best fam!! Thank you so much for sharing! We’ve actually looked a little into bottling the Usual Suspects, but finding the time to officially set it up has been a challenge! We’ll get it done though!!🔥🔥🤙🤙
Looks great y'all!! There is a good seasoning if y'all have a local Mexican Market around. The brand is called Fiesta. The Fiesta Fajita Seasoning is really good. Love the videos, y'all are awesome!!
Love the cook and you two. Personally, I would have liked to see more char on the meat and veggies. Char adds flavor. Just my opinion. Hey, you asked :)
Love this! Love fajitas! Wondering if you can use anything other than flank steak? Good to have the recipe for the “usual suspects” recipe as well. Love you guys.....
Yes! If you check the description below the video, we put the recipe for the Usual Suspects there - also, for fajitas, flank, skirt, and rump steak are recommended, although I bet any cut of steak would be incredible!
I will be making these VERY soon! I have a flank steak so hopefully they will turn out good! Also, my maiden name is Walton! I still have my Walton lunch box from my childhood!
Haha! That is so awesome!! Way funny story then that you’ll get, our dad’s name is John! He played football in college and he and our mom had to disconnect their phones at night, because every night, people would prank call them and say: “Good night Johnboy, Good night Mary Ellen!”🤣🤣. He used to introduce himself as”John believe-it-or-not Walton.” Take care FAM!!🤗🤗
Haha!! Wow, even “butter!”😜 - for reals, we really understand that we couldn’t do this without awesome people supporting - we truly appreciate it and always do our best to respond. Thank you so much for the sub!😄😄
No wonder you guys are in the rising creators category on RU-vid. Awesome channel guys keep up the good work! Also the fajita was so good, I also tried the smash burger and it was delicious. Kudos!
You guys rock!! I have a camp chef and I literally use it every other day. I would love to see your take on Hawaiian BBQ. I'm talking marinated flank steak, and chicken. Salmon (with skin) broccoli, cabbage, snow peas, etc..... I make it at least once a week. And a teriyaki and soy PB sauce.... ugghhhh... Keep up the good work Brothers...
Woot woot!! Thank you so much man!! I actually went to college in Hawaii and I freaking LOVE legit Hawaiian BBQ! We totally will work on something, and include some incredible Mac salad!🤙🤙
i don't remember the first time i had fajitas or maybe actually i do...a few years back some friends of mine came to town to celebrate my birthday. we drove to santa fe and i had the most amazing steak fajitas ever! i seriously debated on asking if i could just get one of the steaks they cooked for it to go lol.
Haha! Yes! Honestly, I want to figure out the best steak for these! This steak was awesome, it I was wondering how a ribeye would do - kind of like Philly cheesesteak but not so thinly sliced!
@@waltwins yea that could probably work. tbh i didn't even think to ask the guy what cut they used, doh! i make my cheese steaks from lean ground beef tho lol...something my cousin taught me when i was 12. it's a lot easier to deal with than having your butcher slice it or going out and blowing a buncha money on a deli slicer. seasoned with a lil SPG i can guarantee you'd like it. ironically i started making them myself because all the places that supposedly had one here in new mexico (i'm from boston) were basically making fajitas stuffed in rolls with cheese on them lol. actually now that i think about it, flank/skirt steak is the most common for fajita meat.
New to your channel to learn how to grill on my 22" tabletop. Love how you grill. Love your videos. Heard you talk about your Usual Suspects Seasoning. I am going to see i how the seasoning works without the Accent. You do know that Accent is mostly MSG??? Still love you guys!!! Here's the Accent ingredients: Monosodium Glutamate, Salt, Chili Pepper, Tricalcium Phosphate (As Anticaking Agent), Spice (Cumin, Oregano), Paprika Extractives(color), Garlic Extractives, Onion Extractives, Yellow No.6 Lake, Yellow No.5 Lake.
Thank you so much for watching! We really appreciate the feedback - our sister was allergic to MSG, so we never had it in the house growing up. We know Accent is essentially MSG. We have done extensive research, and have found it to be safe when used in moderation (according the the FDA and many scientific journals we researched). We know not everyone is comfortable using it, but we also want to be honest about what we are using in our own seasonings. Take care, and I’m sure the Usual Suspects will still be great without the Accent - we just prefer it.😄. Take care!🤗🤗
Haha! Thank you for the vote of confidence! I literally had to edit out how hard I was laughing when I saw Brett’s stack!🤣🤣 still totally fun and delicious!
You two influenced me to buy the 36" Blackstone when there are many alternatives. How many fajitas did that two lbs. of skirt steak make? I need to proportion it for two people (maybe three fajitas).
Oh yes! We’ve honestly tried to find the really big ones, we want to do monster breakfast burritos! So glad to know now what we’re looking for - the fajita wrap!! Thank you Christina!!🤗🤗
You guys are awesome. Great vids. Just a side note for all: inside skirt is NOT more tender than outside. Outside skirt cut is the most tender if the cuts and the inside tends to be a lot tougher and needs a lot more lovin’ to tenderize.
Boom, yes! After this video posted we learned! I was really surprised because the butcher at Publix was the one who gave us the information - though he was incorrect. Much love fam!!🔥🔥
These look amazing!! I want to try this at home but I don’t have an outdoor grill 😔 My oven has a broil setting, but I’m not sure if it will have the same effect. If I do make them, I’ll make sure to add some lime juice haha! Thanks for the awesome video guys!
Yes! Lime juice is key! It’s so funny, for a while, Brett’s often would only cook on broil - he ended up creating some amazing recipes using the broiler! Thank you so much for watching!!🤙🤙
Ack! No, we actually warmed them in the microwave - it was a total oversight! When we did this cook, we had every intention of warming them on the griddle top, and then using the warmer. Thank you so much for watching!!🤙🤙
Haha! This is Brett, and that is the one thing I tend to add to much of. It shouldn’t be too garlicky.. but you can add everything else to get it right!🤗 Griddle on!!!😁❤️🤙
Going to have give this a try, it looks amazing. Is the Peppers restaurant your talking about around Panama City or Port St Joe? Their food always smells good.
Thank you so much for watching!! That’s a great question! The Peppers Brett mentions is in Gainesville, but we know they have them in many locations. Take care Justin!🤙🤙
I was the same way about fajitas, couldn't understand why people would order that. Then my wife ordered shrimp fajitas in a restaurant and of course I had to help her with that. Been hooked ever since. Love cooking them myself on my blacksone.
Haha!! Right?! Seriously, something about them just never appealed to me - now, I’ll eat them whenever I can, so good! Especially on the Blackstone!! Thank you so much for watching man!🤙🤙
