I surf skated from the early 60s to the late 70s. I loved it! The best reason to surf skate is it's fun when its flat or you can't make it to the beach. Not to mention head or wrist or leg injuries. Those who put it down are the Johnny come lately kooks.
Hahaha. I hear you. I think it’s a great tool- it’s fun. It’s a good workout. It can be challenging if you want. And a good surf practice of water is not an option.
My friend- surfskate is not about “need” but about style of riding. In surfskate the nose can lift even when you do snaps and at the highest levels it will.
