Something I learned about those sliding tie-downs. You don’t have to slide them to get them on the rail. Just position the T-nut so that when you push the tightening mechanism in, it pushes the T-nut into the slot. Twist once to get the T-nut to grab the rail, and there you go. Also, the newer feet for the bulkhead panel are L-shaped where they bolt to the floor, at least for ‘21 6-footers.
I wonder if these work with a Leer camper top, it would be a pretty sweet system if it worked with a camper top. The only thing I dont like about them is that they use the bed rail because there are alot of things that use the bed rails and some may cause compatibility issues.
I like the idea of the mole but it would be better if on the side plates they would make the mounts go behind the rail, so it didnt impede with the slides. Probably not that big of a deal but it should be an option.
Cool stuff. Obviously overpriced, yet undeniably useful. My only gripe is the silver hardware. It should all be black. Everybody into this stuff digs tactical gear, and a bunch of tacky silver hardware cheapens the look.
@@Runnin4Tacos Btw, highly recommend using Kolpin Rhino Grip Flex mounts rather than Quick Fist for axe/shovel/fire ext, etc. Personally, I think the QF mounts are garbage, and their rubber straps break very easily- in fact, two of my QF straps broke the first time I mounted gear on my MOLLE setup. Kolpin mounts work the same way but are much more durable & trustworthy.
