Yeah ASA definitely shook up the trap designs compared to what we could use in ASE. I miss the simple 2x2 pitfall trap. I could get anything from a bary to a Rex in it 😂
the rex traps looks amazing i didnt know that the cellar door could be used like a trap nice Just an update i am using this trap on almost anything it works amazing for smaller creatures i just lower the pillars the ai wont go around if the cellar door is open
I am glad you liked it. Thank you so much. Yes they can. I just wish they could be placed vertically because rexes can fit through them, and they would be the perfect size. As Dino gates are too small for rexes and behemoth gates are far too large.
Used to rely on Johtunn Bandit's traps for ASE, but have found I had to keep changing trapstyles with ASA because they kept changing the pathing. Love the simplicity of these and also how they aren't too expensive to build either! Argy trap is ingenious! And I like the wyvern trap as well. First time I have seen your channel, but definitely liked and subscribed! Look forward to seeing the rest of your vids!
Do you use the 3 traps so it stay’s stuck longer? So the moment it gets unstuck does it get stuck again until all 3 traps have been used? If so that’s awesome. I didn’t know you could stack the timer like that. Because 1 trap is not a lot of time 😂
@@ChaosBearGaming yea dont use 1 trap i learn the hard way lol I used 3 to 4 spread out around each other Then run around the giga or carcha slapping down the gates Dont put the gates too close together or they will glitch out of it Same for carcha makes taming carcha super easy i usually lure a rex close to the carcha kill it and get a ton taming effect or insta tame Or if i cant find rex i build a pen and and close in a bunch of wild tames to use as food lol
@@chinimon8259 thanks for clarifying how you do that. I appreciate it. I feel like something similar could be done for the pyromane. Just build a nice little box of wild creatures and then farm them all at once 😂
Your cellar/pillar traps worked greatly but now they need updates with doorframes, doors, more pillars as needed. Raptor now can go thru single doorframe without door and other extremely small gap. Bigger dino like allosaurus can just glitch/jump out of simple pillars even with the beams on the bottom like in your video. Learned those in the hard way 😇
@@ChaosBearGaming Yes, the Rex trap did not work on Mammoth. It just walked out of it in few seconds. Thanks goodness its aggro does not last too long or it could have shredded my close by dinos :)
