I hadn’t considered the Fov change. It’s been awhile since I’ve played Destiny. I was in the top 1% in D1 on my Xbox account, (mrchuckles21) before I stopped playing, but haven’t played competitively like that in years. Needless to say I am so much slower than I used to be 😂 Decided to up my sensitivity and run speed yesterday and then made a world of difference. I had looked up the auto centering and a lot of the more competitive people said to not turn it on. Doesn’t hurt to test it out though. But I will definitely change up the fov and see how that affects things. Thanks for sharing that.
@@ChaosBearGaming yup np, i personally use 20 sens, .8 ads sensitivity, max sprinting turn speed, with .02 deadzone, and then i have my crosshair centered simply because I prefer the balance of the screen, you are welcome to check my stats out, although i havent been very competitive until coming back during lightfall. @@JustEliiii I don’t care about stats much anymore. If you’re helpful, you’re helpful, stats don’t matter. People worry too much about numbers 😂 and you’re were very helpful. So thank you. Yeah I was unsure on the dead zone number. I watched A video on it and tried to figure it out. I think mine is 0.5 for both. I will have to keep messing with the settings to see what feels the best.
@@ChaosBearGaming yeah, for deadzones, a general rule of thumb is to push it down as much as possible until your controller starts to drift, then push it up like one or two, it helped ALOT since d2 has a very wonky input registration compared to other games
Is there a really a good reason to build a base that's overly protected like most of these? I don't seem to get any problems with random bugs attacking my base. The only time they do is if I've killed far too many of a certain type and then it does those random event type raids where a few of them attack.. but it's always super easy to defend. Doesn't seem like there's any real danger in this game as far as our bases are concerned?
Some people just like To build big bases for fun. It’s a time investment for sure, but it’s nice coming back and seeing organized storage or a well built house that protects you. Even if it’s just from the sun lol 😂 because technically storage is best placed In the middle of a base so it can be pulled from anywhere within the base. So you don’t want a massive base if that is your goal and the coziness level is also restricted to a specific radius.
Yeah there’s quite a few settings that need adjusted, at least on console. Then once they are adjusted it runs a lot better. Helpfully they further optimize it. Because there is nothing else quite like it. I am sorry to hear you haven’t been able to play. Or that it was a bad experience.
Yeah there is quite a few. That’s why I like to mix it up. As long as I don’t play it everyday all day then I enjoy it a lot. when I grind Ark hard though for like a week straight those crashes catch up to you 😂

I have passed by a few times and I have seen a few rexes, raptors, and also Ceratosaurus on that island. It’s definitely a lot more dangerous than it was in ASE. The island just north of it is quite a bit safer.
0:20 can someone this bad at the game truly have a significant or worthwhile opinion on the state of the meta game of said game? I think everyone’s opinion matters. Considering that the vast majority of the destiny community is a causal player. I mean only a fraction of people even do end game content or grind the game all day. I used to, not anymore I was in the top 1% in Destiny 1. It was on Xbox. The gametag was mrchuckles21. I stopped playing right before rise of iron. I also had a small RU-vid channel that covered Destiny 1 content called mrchuckles. I also won movie of the week in Destiny 1. Look up the video it’s raining guardians, hallelujah. My buddy and I submitted that. The clip is on his channel but the gameplay is mine. My personal Channel the Mrchuckles one wasn’t great. I was young, and didn’t know what I was doing, but I was great at the game. I didn’t have a full time job or a family. Now I work 40 hours a week, have a finance, and kids and play games for fun. So for me to say things yeah like people still don’t cap, shotguns are still are thing, etc… it’s a common thing that gets said. But I was playing the game to have fun. As I am excited to get back into it. In a little bit of time I will get into the full swing of things. I probably won’t ever be as good as I was before because I don’t have the time. But I have over 1500 hours between the Destiny 1 and 2 across 3 different platforms, so I have a good idea of how the game works, and most of that was in PvP. And yes the title was a little click baity. I don’t disagree, but I was trying to find a new audience as my current audience is only In survival games. My apologies for making it too click baity. It’s supposed to be light humored fun. But once I get into things I will be making guides and tutorials and more serious stuff. But this was just me trying to have fun and be entertaining. Which I may have failed, who knows. But sorry to piss you off for wasting your time. Just trying to expand my content. TLDR: thank you for the feedback, it only helps me grow.
@@stoneyoni6589 hahaha thank you. I started as a hunter, but the day I found the titan and learned how to skate in D1… and combined that with the mida multi tool when thorn was everywhere.. well I couldn’t go back 😂and everyone started hating blink shotgun so titan with mida was a fun counter 😂
@@TheGamesMenUK I tried it in creative so I could count the resources needed in a fast manner, and I think to build around the oak tree with just 1 floor that was 3-4 tiles wide, it was roughly 600ish planks.
Oh no that’s sad, I feel like I’ve definitely been there before and they leave me be at times. I wonder what triggers that aggressive nature. Because it doesn’t always happen.
There’s a big rock at the end of the stumps near the stink bugs and bombardier beetles if you build on top of it then make a spiral staircase you could zip-line to the upper yard and the tree, it can’t be attacked by ground bugs which is a plus, I’m gonna run around next time I play and try to find more good spots because I’m curious now
Someone else mentioned that as well. I guess I had just never seen them because I either went to bed early enough or I wasn’t near my base when it was late. Thank you for that call out.

When I made this video I didn’t even think about the Bary. The bary really is such a good tame. Thanks for that call out. I believe someone else said something similar when I first released the video. Bary for the win.
You gotta try to make a floating base up in the air. I got one over by the tree but it’s not touching the ground in any way other then zip lines, lets you make bases that can be like planes just up there in the sky
I had no idea you could even do that. That sounds awesome. Would air raids cause them to break? Or what stops it from falling apart when something breaks?
@@ChaosBearGaming I don’t have to worry about raids I have a wafter up there that when I trigger it automatically finishes and resets the raid timer then I have 1 main zip line that connects me to every other corner
Missed the bin at the back of the upper yard with the 2 stink bugs on top. Once killed they will never spawn again if u build any thing at there spawn or close to it
My understanding is that they still respawned, but you’re saying you can block their spawns? Does that just work for them or other creatures as well? That was my 16 pick but I pulled it off cause I thought they would respawn every time lol 😂
@@ChaosBearGaming no they don't respawn. Only time they will respawn is if u go to a higher new game pluss.. I think the respawn thing is. If you build in an area where around there spawn location. Then they just no longer spawn. I did some testing with the Waft emitter. To try and cheese the bugs spawning at the oak tree next to the water and managed to make a single file line of black ox. And it worked just fine..
