Amazing idea I had never clocked before. When you work concrete up to a straight edge remove the straight edge slightly sideways! Simple but brilliant and what I would have given to know this 50 years ago!
Remarkable work! Even though the video must be sped up, he still has to work very quickly. Fine sculpting cement won't stay workable forever. I'm inspired to tackle a Corinthian column capital in my garden. All I have to do is color the facing cement and float it flat - yeah...
Add sizle to your mix to give it strength, I used to make and fit corinthian capitals in plaster, not an easy task in cement, you could make one in clay, then make a mould from it then cast a cement one.
I often see comments such as what mix... never have seen an answer but I have used type s mortar mix with plasticizers and I ground to a fine power charcoal and mix with talcum powder to add smoothness.

This guy is really good. A great artist too! And he probably make peanuts for his work. He could make lots of dineros in a western country with those skills.
am i the only one who notice ? a long white sleeve , working with cement , and he manages to get it practically clean ??? i cant do that with cement i might look like playing with mud :)))
Chefs are like that after a days work. You know the good ones that respect the trades when they are clean even after a hard days work. Got to do things properly!

@@Sokail87 I wonder how you would feel if you were the musician who laboured to write the music and then worked to make it known only to have people steal your work to try to make money on RU-vid?
@Robert Evans in the - quite false by communist standards - premise that everything belongs to everybody hence there is no theft etc. On a more serious note, I am an illustrator and I have had content I created used by other people without me knowing. I felt rather amused but I would have preferred that they had at least communicated with me somehow. If I'm honest, I get way more irritated when people try to cut corners or they decide to abandon the project at the very last moment and come back to me with that excuse so as to not pay or pay way less than my work has cost.
I enjoy watching an craftsman doing a superb job, but too many commercials. I understand you get money for every commercial played, so it looks like your very greedy indeed. Otherwise a very interesting video.
