You can also sew buttons to the sides if you like to hold your surgical mask or face coverings in place if you are wearing masks or in a professional area/field needing one. I crocheted extension on to button and unbutton in the winter time due to my breathing issues with the cold weather. No fuss and stylish too.

I made something simular from a scarf pattern to hang in my bathroom across my open shelving. I made them in different colors to match my wall paper. I didn't think about making into headbands. Thank you for showing me different thing to do with the same basic pattern. I did it with making a button like you showed in the last one. I attached it to the top just above the last row of the loops. This way they hand down. I might just do that on my levis material I am making for my hair/ponytail. Make slits in the middle to make the loops to join. Again thank you because it makes creative minds think of other things to do with it. Keep creating beautiful things for us to enjoy.

I stumbled onto your channel and was intrigued. After watching the woman crocheting this beautiful item, it has made me want to begin crocheting again. Thank you for the video of the item being made and how carefully the crocheting person took the time to show where the crochet hook is placed helping one to make the item more easily. With the stitches displayed as the item is made you are able to begin writing down the instructions. So one need to only watch the video( maybe more than once) and write down the directions. I’m going to begin taking up handwork again taking up a crochet hook and knitting needles. I’ve also subscribed to your channel hoping to discover more simple patterns.
I first saw this done by my husband's aunt as part of a crocheted afghan. Shortly afterward, I made a baby afghan (crib size) for my firstborn. That was 40+years ago.

For those of you that need written instructions: Braided Headband 16 SC on loop chain 3 + 15 dc chain 3+ 7d c+8 chain+8 dc chain 3+ 7 dc+8 sc +8 dc Repeat to desired length weave middle chains to make braid end with 16 dc to connect braid 16 sc attached to loop I love the cable look - I've made a blanket and pillow using it. Now a headband!

I think it's a lovely design. To avoid confusion, it would be wonderful if you were to list directions or link a PDF w/them in your description box! You cut away to the full length without saying how long it is, how many loops vs rows, or showing us the crochet button how to. I'd try it if the ending instructions were in there. They're beautiful, though!

I agree it says nothing about how long or how many rows. It is pretty. I used a 5mm or h hook turned out beautiful. I just kept trying it on me to get the size
Thank you for a lovely tutorial. I really like that you show how to do this in real time, not skipping away with fast forward. I don't mind that on really big blankets & such but for smaller things, to me rt is better🤗
