It's always so nice just to be able to look under old rusty drums or under some old wet lumber and find brand new objects and then make something out of it because you also have all the tools you need to get er done.

I would imagine he has formal training, hold a degree, earned all the money to buy these tools and even has a professional film crew and editors... to finally be able to share his dream of bringing us the best trash in the best way like only he can. ... dont forget band and original score. Holding small pieces with pliers when you have a vice, using hot glue instead of PVC glue. Making a welding stinger that requires welding to make. Fixing the chuck was pretty useful and informative though! Thank you for that!

Belt sanders... Got shown a great way of cleaning loaded or dirty sander belts. Scrunch up part of a plastic shopping bag into a tight ball and pass the ball across the running belt. It really works providing it's not worn out. Be careful.

KEWL !!! Very nice video! ❤ I had wondered, for a long time, how to re-work an old chuck. You showed that it was a simple matter, knowing how they come apart, as well as re-timing the chuck jaws. Thank you so much. Question: how do you remove a keyless chuck from a cordless drill, (the drill motor is shot, but it has a nice chuck).

I'm a retired, heavy equipment repair/diesel mechanic/fabricator with over 40 years in the field that has carried me throughout the western region's of the world from Central America to the Arctic Circle and I've learned all kindsa tips n tricks to make my job easier n safer n cheaper but I gotta give this guy props, his first two builds with the belt sander and electrode holder are some extremely creative ideas but I dont think that with all of my years and all of my travels, I dont think I've ever come across such cobbled together, bird shit n bad habits all assembled together in one place before!

I can understand the sentiment behind the hand vintage tools, but this is the 21st century, and I use what is available. Of course, it has to be within my budget as I am just a home handyman. Just a suggestion to work towards an upgrade, slowly. Safer too. Thanks for sharing.

Та не ребята, держатель в магазине три копейки стоит, 1) в нем изоляция людская, 2) он компактнее 3) сам не прилипнет н свариваемому металлу 4) он не так часто выходит из строя, 5) в прищепке замена просходит проще и быстрее 6) не нвужно париться и с говна город городить и т.д. и т.п., но для Ютуба пойдет - выглядит эффектно и заманчиво - ставлю лайк!

Never thought about how a chuck looked like inside. Never was at that scenario. Countless others. Makes me wonder what was going through the persons mind at the time. What goes through yours as you drive down the street and see items being thrown away? Way back then, which was when, a person could pick through the local dump and take what ever.🤔 I use to jump* into the Goodwill BIG dumpster and grab the COOL broken or incomplete stuff. ...They didn't like that. Oh yeah! And some nice cinematography. ⏳well invested. *When I was young and could jump into and out.
