Yes another tip that my Gad and I used for nailing end grain wood is to slightly flatten the point of the nail before hitting it in. Can be done by inverting the nail stand on hard surface add tap with your hammer - no need for anything else just the nail Hammer and the wood you are nailing. Having said that I am a fan of using screws instead.
Slightly flattening the tip of a nail has mixed results. Anyone wanting predictable perfect results use a small drill bit just under the diameter of the nail to drill a pilot hole first. Some particular hardwoods are just prone to splitting on the end grain. Be a pro and pre drill, only takes a second.
@@multibusa Yes Steve that is one method I use if I am working with some of the "splittable" timbers we have in Australia especially when using screws and nails on end grains.
just wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that pvc is highly toxic and continues to outgas toxic vapors throughout its presence in your home. you should avoid exposure to pvc at all times. heating pvc or cutting it in such a way that produces dust or fine particulates of the material - as repeatedly shown in this video - is particularly dangerous.
Who in there right mind would deliberately butcher a pair of long nose pliers to make a nail puller especially when you could buy a cats paw for a fraction of the price. Most of these tips are totally useless. The ones that actually work could be better made using different materials. I can’t believe I almost watched this until the end before watching something else.
I was eating icecream and waiting to finish it and then write this, but then, here it comes: 18:04 - another way to mix paint... (a million + 1 time) So, if you show me another way to mix paint idk wt i will do... It's the second clip and a million time mixing paint. 🤣🤣🤣
I think the real value in this vid is to provoke ones thinking further, move on from these ideas, look around for different materials, products, processes to solve or improve on a given situation.

Some of these don't make any sense. Either I can't see the point of the end result, or the end result is something that could have been done better another, simpler way.
I think some people have to much spare time ..I mean the handle on the bottle 🤦♂️ the hot razor😂 just heat it up with the butane torch ya use to make the other useless shit😅 lol he made a plastic spanner to put a new nut on a a new bolt instead of using his fingers ffs , some1 that soft shouldn't be using any kind of tool. I did like the sand paper flapper for inside the tube . But the rest is useless
