Glen Campbell invited his mom to sing "Crying Time" and "Silver-haired Daddy of Mine" on Sunday night, November 20, 1988, at the North Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
I just recently found this and I listen to it often. It brings so much peace to me, to see a mom and son sing these two beautiful songs and so much love. Serving in Vietnam 66_67 and 68, my mother wrote to me every day. Mail never on time , I received 24 letters in one day , so much love from mom, watching this brings so much love. Thank you. Sitting here now, unable to sleep listening to their music really helps me.
How Beautiful is That!! She isn't a bit shy. Must be where Glen Received more talent than any Man that ever walked this Earth. GOD BLESS THE CAMPBELL FAMILY. How in the world could any Human give this a thumbs down?? Shame on YOU!

Just found this clip. Glen's mother certainly could harmonise beautifully. I grew up listening to Glen Campbell and singing along to a great Entertainer. RIP Glen and his dear mother 🌹❤️🌹
@@gregoryfaucheuxmiguel Just discovered 'Glen & His Family' from the 80s with his dad and three sisters singing too, on YT - give it a go, it's lovely!😉👍
Touched my inner spirit and soul. I have always loved Glen Cambells singing as a singer-songwriter and musician. This was amazing, showing his love for his beautiful caring mother reminiscing about their family and the lost of a loving father 6:54 ❤from Derry Northern Ireland 🇮🇪 my hometown x ⚘️🌈🌎🙏👏
Glenn Campbell, you've been my favourite musician, gifted with a beautiful natural voice, here you just topped it: going off the stage to help your mum to the stage, how graceful
They were country people and what country people did for entertainment was sing! Mama and Glen and kin had been singing together all their lives! I knew a family just like that. Precious!
Living one state over is where I lived most of my life while growing up. From my early childhood, there was a family we knew well; as we went to the same church together. Their oldest child and I shared being the oldest in common, as well as being the same age, and we were both girls. Her parents were from Arkansas. Her mother was a first cousin of Glen and his siblings. I am sharing something else here. I decided to do so in hopes it will be beneficial to someone in need of knowing or to gain understanding for themselves. Many of us having watched this are of an age that we've lost many loved ones who have crossed over. I am certain many of those long to see them again in 'that someday time ahead'. Other's are wishing there was some way of knowing they are seeing your life and sometimes are with you. What I am sharing addresses exactly this! God gives us our abilities, our talents. This is equally a gift of God. Views have changed greatly since I was a child. Back then, there was no possible way I could share this gift. Only my closest family members knew. You pay attention to your surroundings, nature, and the environment. Pay attention to other things, too. Do not, please in doing so, try forcing a wrong piece to fit into a jigsaw puzzle. We all, I imagine, decades back, have thought to go to the phone to call someone on your mind, only for it to ring and on the other end is the very person you were going to call. How often do you experience similar things to that today? It happens. DO NOTE: When coincidences start stacking up, becoming more than normal, and it's more than mere coincidences. Understand it is beyond! Beyond coincidences and from beyond. If you haven't, then start paying attention to these things. This is often the earliest stage of development of your gift. When you have random things pop into your head, it very often is for a reason and if it is the Other Side, it will be made known to you in a connection. Your loved ones from beyond, will use these things as their means of calling cards to you. It is a precursor to identify it is them being with you. This has been decades long now in my lifetime. I am skipping much to wind this down. Two days and two nights ago, I needed to pray for a specific person. I spend much time in prayer to God. I didn't sleep until the wee hours. I felt called to listen to "Believe" by Brooks and Dunn. I love this song. As a Christian, you feel the power, the Godhead, all in it. I made a text or two and had another typed out. It was ready to press send. Instead, even though it was more than fine, I deleted it all. Why? Even though it was caring, I was thinking, what if the person was to takes it wrong? I didn't want anyone misunderstanding, so I deleted it. My Dad passed in 2018. He primarily uses any one of three signs, (his personal calling cards) in connecting with me. They will use highly significant things you shared, like a special activity that was mostly just shared, belonging to the two of you, a unique shared love of something, and he has use of a song that I and other's ID as being as him to a T. My text I deleted had a long, long ago artist and a song title in it. My Dad has now added another identification marker to his list. This singer and the song popped into my head and I put it in the text. Mostly, I put it there to reference the age, the Era it was popular. I seriously doubt that even once in the 1970's, I even thought of it or since then! I know the last time seeing and hearing the 45 played, it was in 1968! I know the exact room we were in and the placements of both my Dad and I, as he played it! He didn't play it often, but it was a favorite of his. I am certain my Daddy loves my memories of the song, and of my knowing his beloved memories of it!! Now imagine nothing wrote of it, only deleted, and within less than 24 hours of my typing it, here is Red Sovine's, "Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine," showing up sung by Glen and his Mom! Forgive me, please, for the length of this.
I love seeing them sing together you know they did this many times It does my heart good to see a mother and son singing together. God bless them both.
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face....
This song shows that they were a very loving family. At the age of 83, if she can sing so well then imagine how good she must have been in her youthful days. He is very much attached to her. Truly, love brings all the joys and happiness in this world.
This is solid proof that the very great Glen Campbell got his singing talent from his dear Irish mother. Both now resting in Heaven enjoying eternal peace
What a good son! Honoring his mother by including her in his life and on his show! So proud of her being able to sing still at 83 yes old. I’m sure she was so full of joy and proud of having brought up such a man!!
I am no longer a young person anymore. But I remember my momma standing at the ironing board ironing away my Daddys shirts and her singing along to music from the little box raido on top of the refrigerator. Oh how I miss those times.

This is such a treasure! Cause once your mom is gone, it's a whole different life. Please, enjoy your moms while they are still here, cause once they are gone, there is no turning back. I miss my mother every single day since October 2013.😟
