The diver is slower, but that's ok. You don't want it to get the bends by going up too fast.

I have a idea, cut the bottle in half make coral with sugru then put it in the bottle now you can let it set hot glue both half of the bottle together fill it up with water put the plastering figure in screw up the cap and it may work

My little one and I tried the straw and paperclip diver today but it wouldn't float straight up and down but sideways so it wouldn't go down when we squeezed the water bottle. How can we fix that? Do I need to have a straw with a flexible bend near the top?
