Hello Folks,
A few months ago, many viewers emailed me to express their interest in traditional Japanese carpentry and to show the most genuine view of traditional technology and its importance to present life. We decided to make these videos about the direct work of workers and carpenters at The Conservation of Buildings.
#IncredibleSlidingDoor #JapaneseSlidingDoor #SlidingDoor
This video was recorded by construction camera systems (some of my friends provided the footage). I have edited it, adding new effects and music to create a unique presentation titled: "Amazing Woodworking Project Traditional Crafts - Most Incredible Sliding Doors You've Ever Seen."
Today’s video may be more appealing because of the appearance of Young Craftsman: Matsubayashi Keisuke from Nagano Prefecture.
Stay tuned for more insights into incredible sliding doors, Japanese sliding doors, and traditional woodworking. We will explore Japanese carpenter woodworking skills, amazing woodworking skills, woodworking projects, and the intricate craftsmanship involved in Japanese building techniques. Learn about Japanese furniture making, Japanese craftsmanship documentaries, traditional Japanese woodworking hand tools, and Japanese woodworking jigs through our woodworking documentary series.

I never knew the amount of work that it takes to make something like that they put more work in one panel then most Americans put in a hole house absolutely gorgeous and I was in total treat

Whole as in entire. Hole is a void or cavity. But agree with your statement.

rchancock Japanese houses are minimalist unlike westerners with two tv’s in every room and every infomercial product cluttering every bench top, best to have a few things of beauty than a house full of junk

As much I enjoy Japan and all things Japanese, the people themselves are more open to having more but lack the space. I have met and talked with plenty of Japanese who have left their homeland and adopted the lifestyles of the cultures around them. Upon returning to Japan, there is a common complaint that life, both socially and physically, is too restrictive. I remember one woman who shared her homestay visit with a family in Colorado. She explained that she was blown away by the kindness, hospitality and largess of her hosts. You will never experience that in Japan.

Amazing the Japanese in many ways. When it comes to woodworking, no one can match them. Simply because of the quality of the woods in my country it is unthinkable to be able to get them.

This level of skill is mind-boggling. 8:44 he is slicing one of the thinnest pieces of wood possible right down the middle, lengthwise... BY HAND! Not with a razor blade or some intricate blade made for it.. but with a saw. This amazed me. Excellent work, truly.

Makes you think why nations war with each other! When teaching each other expands the union between WorLd s!!! Language is knowing the actions of creation! By watching, interacting and becoming a part of each other! Brings back old ways!! Life is not being in a city as a cancer scared of the dark... Spreading..! It's seeing in the light, what others can really do!! Follow the light... God bless

The discipline, dedication and determination; combined with skill, talent, mastery of the art and love of traditional values and work ethics (which is obviously instilled in the individuals that produced such beauty) was a site to behold. That is what is presented in this video. Amazing craftsmanship. It brought joy and admiration to my heart just to observe those talents put in motion. From one woodworker to another; Thank you for sharing. Absolutely beautiful.

I was trying doing similar work in my technical school days. Since I came to England I couldn't find a space to make my own workshop. I couldn't afford to pay for space for council tax, rent a place. All i could manage to do here in English is absolutely out of my skills as Furniture maker and Transition Joinery. My dreams is to get myself on foot, to able to afford a space, if is just a little space I will be so grateful. My prayers 🙏 all days 🙏
