Just a quick Update. Luckily I've not had to shred big piles much anymore, however I did a 300 page pile the other day and still runs amazing without missing a page. STILL SOLID!
@@cramerlong2276 No real heavy but you end up with a little confetti around the shredder and maybe the trash can. The part fit well and I still think its a great shredder for the home office.
@@chrisdavidson3180 I am retired from the Investment business . This sounds perfect . I have all kinds of signed papers with My SS number as well as others . I live in the country so I could burn it . But you never know when something might just float away . *Thanks for the prompt reply* My last shredder was from Staples . 1 yr warranty. fizzled out 3 days after expiration date and Staples refused to even discuss a % of a New one . Thanks AGAIN *Does it come with oil?*
Wow that's alot of paper! Not sure if any personal/home level shredder can handle all that, but I think Amazon has an amazing warranty on them and it's a power house. Keep it lubed, clean, the collector empty and fingers crossed!
There are commercial paper shredder companies that have a Trash collector looking Vehicle, with a wood chipper like equipment in the back, that can come to your location. They will take your papers and shred them in the parking lot while you watch. This is the service most Medical and Vet Offices use. You can call them to get a quote for next time they service a client near your location.
Thanks for the video Chris. I just bought this one and when I put the paper in the manual feed it will not shred unless I push the forward button. Am I missing something?
No it should start once the paper is inserted. I've noticed that if I don't get the paper in straight it won't start so it often takes me a couple of jabs at it... 😂 You do have to have it powered on prior as well?
Beyond long winded. I had to skip a ton; finally at the end it sounds like you like it. I hope you listen to all the "ughs" and "oks" and pauses yourself before you make another video.
