That’s a terrific list. I’m really looking forward to the Casio review. I love(d) my A168, but I bought a SKXMOD for it, and it looks and feels like a completely different watch now. Yes, I bought a $150 mod for a $25 watch. 🤪. But I really like it.
That g-shock is the best one yet. Aside from, finally, very wearable dimensions it is also extremely legible, somethingthat I always strugle with on g-shocks! Nice!
The thickness of the GST b600 has a lot to do with how it wears. I have an MTG B3000 which is 50mm in diameter but only 12mm thick making it wear way smaller than the size suggests.
Coincidence, I just put my Bulova Moon Watch on before watching this. Olivier, for an affordable tank watch have you ever looked at the Rotary Cambridge quartz? Very handsome. Or if you can find one a Rotary Portland is very nice, too.
I like the metal mini G Shock but it is still $356 in the USA. I'm more interested in the Casio Titanium Ani-digi with Tough Solar and Atomic Clock nightly updates.
It's a good watch, no doubt about it, but the prices you always quote are just horribly ridiculously high when you look at it from America, most likely you're getting it. Interest from sellers. never believe. Check the prices yourself.
Personal experience here: 5 of 7 Miyota quartzies FAILED over the years, 2 of them original Citizen! My 2 Swiss calibres also lasted just a bit over year. Warranty expired, watch expired! Citizen bought Bulova. NO THANKS! My 1/2-dozen watches with Seiko/TMI quartz guts ALL still run, including a 35 year old dress watch, plus 4 NH35A automatics by Invicta and Tandorio. Seiko/TMI and Casio for me only from now on. I have no money to waste on Citizen, and there are a lot of bad reviews about several I checked at Amazon, not even mentioning "OOOHH! It's a Swiss watch!" They just know how to make you feel bad about losing so much money, that when it fails, they want you to send it in for a 300 to 500 dollar "service". (cash register BELL, DING DING DING) NO WAY!
