Wow! This App is great! I can see the difference in the speed of moving through the pages on my Firestick. The reboot is faster as well. Apps open up faster. I also installed the Cache Cleaner App as well. Testing both on my Firestick in living room. Will install on one in bedroom next. Thx again.
I use the free one and its call background apps and process list, it basically allows you to select one you want to close and take you to each one to force close. i like it just because its free
Well played sir. Paid for and downloaded. Deleted the app I use for this task (background apps and processes something) will sign up for the vpn just for you the very next time I want a vpn, (which is fairly regularly - but I may as well get 30 days starting when I need it. Thanks again
By the way I also use an app called Fast Task Killer. It seems to be doing something.. but I’m really not sure if it’s just some sort of a hoax - all display and no effect. Have you ever come across it?
I am trying to use it in my fire TV but I can’t see the “my tv/fire stick” icon so can’t get to the area to enable. Any suggestions on where it is or how to get there?
This might be minor but when I got the FireTV I had a firestick and I had the items transferred to the TV. Now I have items that show they are installed but are not installed and no way to remove these. Even if I reset the TV to default I still have these listed. I should have just added the few that I use but did not. The other ones show up but have no way to uninstall even though I do not use them.
I need to know how to set my Insignia Fire TV Edition 4K Smart TV back up because it's not coming on it's just sitting there thinking and it says Fire TV and white letters and the blue light is blinking
I'm so happy I'm your first commenter but keep up wat you are doing an love learning new stuff from you even if I can't afford the devices but I can on chromecast or onn android tv box hopefully 1 day I will be able to have a good streaming devices like the cube or shield
Stay away from Amazon fire TV devices because fire TV OS sucks. The Nvidia shield TV pro is way over priced for streaming content. The Apple TV 4k and the Roku ultra run circles around those devices and are better priced. Also Google has said they're getting rid of Android TV in favor of Google TV.
How do you get the BBC iPlayer to work in the US . I'm in Ireland and can't get it to work. I even use a family member who lives in UK and use her legit postcode . Thanks for the video excellent as usual
Or you can restart your firestick and it force stops all your apps until you open them do this once a week and it's FREE to do...BTW it takes about 60 seconds to do
You say in your videos lately that you'll be taking questions in the first hour or two. Where are these videos posted so I could watch them? Also if there not posted so people can watch them you shouldn't mention them at all.
Had to stop listening, that thump was crazy...did a restart on my Firestick and it is back to speedy. Free and quick. Kills 2 birds. Closes all apps and clears the cache.
@@UpgradeGuyTech There is s thump in the audio every 10 -15 seconds, I am not the only one to comment on it. Not trying to be petty or mean, just letting you know. It is really low level thump. At first I thought it was my wife doing something upstairs above my game room, but it is the audio in the video. I use studio headphones that are really good, you may not even notice it with cheap earbuds.
Obviously this is not for the guy that just bought one and is trying to figure out how to use it.. and of course is not particularly tech savvy. You go way too fast in addition to a lot of unnecessary jargon.. Sorry..
Seems like a lot of work to have a fire TV device a lot of hoops to jump through. So glad I use Roku devices no need to clean cache or force stop apps.
We had Rokus for years but now have firesticks because of being able to sideload apps. Going through all the app cleaning is a pain but I will take it, being able to watch anything I want when I want with sideloaded apps.
