Zak why don't get aquascape to come in and put a pond in that area. There's plenty of room there for a nice size pond. It could be a massive badges pond for growing out them bass and other fish. Something to think about!
If you hook up with the DNR tell them you're stocking a pond they'll come out test your water do a workup and supply you with the fish you need and the proper food to feed them for the best growth and then a biologist comes out and tells you how it's doing from time to time. So check that out Zack.
Bass is invasive here in Nova Scotia Canada, I’ll have to check on the rules here for that too but it would be cool to buy for my new pond I’ll be digging soon. I’ll be doing the whole process for RU-vid machine work and all
Could you legally put a agriculture fish cage, like what used for salmon farming but of course a bit smaller in the lake? God knows how much it would be though.
The reason they say float the bag for only 5 minutes is actually because when you are acclimating fish in a pond the sun can heat up the water in the bag warmer than the water in the pond and you can possible cook your fish super interesting video though seen them on Amazon but never seen anyone actually order them
my red tail kitty just ate my ghost knife fish that was beat up bad by a new cichlid that i put in my tank which pissed me off enough to chop the cichlids head off and feed him to my catfish in hopes to save the ghostknife fish thats longer than the catfish itself about 5 inches, I got bored so i bought two goldfish thinking that the kitty is so bloated with food he wouldnt eat the goldfish yet and 20 minutes later one goldfish disappeared. Im such a terrible fish owner lol. I hope the catfish doesnt get too much trouble digesting these fish, this happened in the span of 4 days, and yes the other goldfish is in a bucket for at least a week until the catfish is ready for his next meal
How much did you buy your house? Was it cheap? That may be a sign that the last owner wanted to sell cheap because they must had done a survey on the ground level and saw that there may be signs of sink hole forming near the house. Sign would be sinking/land filled of water and sinking land.. I suggested you hired some states or city survey to check the land.. or else you'll wake up to a rude awakening of your house or part of your land disappearing under ground
Trying this right now. Up here in Orlando, he don't have any peacock bass in our pond. My idea is to buy a few of amazon and bulk them up and let them breed in our pond. It would be really cool to see people ripping peacocks outta the water and being surprised and yet confused while fishing. It would be cool to start a little population up here.
You'll get a visit by FWC for releasing an invasive species. If you got a pond get Florida Black Bass stock native! We don't need anymore invasive fish in central Florida between the Brown Hoplo, plecos and Tilapia we have enough that are messing with the native species. You can drive a few hours and fish for Peacock bass if you want them, leave them there!
@@hypecarz I don't think they'll survive more than a couple years most likely once we get a real cold snap like we have been they'll be dead. Our water doesn't stay as warm as it does down there. Seems like past 2 years we got some pretty cold days that were every 4 or 5 years before
STOP!!!! There are two distinct species of “Largemouth bass”. There is Largemouth Bass and Florida Largemouth Bass. The look very similar but are two distinct species. They will also interbreed and hybridize. Do not mess up Florida’s fisheries by stocking non-native fish!
