The selection is getting better now a year from this video. They have the best streaming capabilities and I've tested all the others even googles when it was around. They just need to keep adding on
There is a very small selection of games that are free with Prime; but they change every month, so there's barely enough time to get into a game before it's gone. Basically it's just giving you a free taste, so you'll get hooked and subscribe. That said, I love the controller.
Luna has a good selection of free games, especially for the price. They stay longer than a month in almost all cases as well. Edit: I have a founder's account which is only $5.99 a month.
Luna with the Ubisoft+ subscription is perfect I love it and I like how I can switch right from my tablet to my tv without having to re load the game(I also have switch/play station/ and meta quest 2)
It'll work, but Idk if it's a great deal. I got a get a wireless controller for $12 on Amazon that works great. U can even play the games on luna app with it. The only thing that luna controller does that cheap one doesn't is connect to wifi and Alexa devices. So not worth paying an extra $28-48 for imo
I have 8bit do controllers at home that I use to play retro games from Happy Chick on my fire cube and I wish they were just a little more responsive, is a Luna controller so much better that it’s worth changing?
sadly you use 7 GB of internet DATA per hour with Amazon Luna when playing a game with the 4k firestick and if you downloaded the game it would only be 4GB total data used, I have been playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, you will quickly go over your DATA limit if your cable/internet company has DATA CAPS. I mean if you also want to watch 4k movies on Netflix HBO HULU DISNEY, but if you use Firestick you can force the display down to 720p and you will only use about 4 GB per hour but still a lot of dat, like me when I like a game I will play it constantly until I get sick of it or I finish
Luna with Ubisoft plus is A1... Its worth it just with Ubisoft. The been ramping up the games they have on Ubisoft.. Also I can't wait for Ubisoft to Starr dropping call of duty games on there service because if you have been paying attention Microsoft has sold the clod streaming rights for all cod games to Ubisoft.. So that's the only place we will be able to play call of duty in the cloud for the next 15 years.
Google stadia shuts down in January 2023 so be careful buying Amazon Luna because that could be shut down in the near future due to the failure of studio
Yeah. When you're only focusing on cloud streaming, you've limited your player base quite a bit already. And let's not talk about having to put your faith in the Amazon data centres
i hope not, i have great internet and its saving me a lot with just needing a fire stick and ethernet adapter. i rather replace a controller than a console or pc every few years.
