yes it was these frogs are really awesome but i really like the common Bullfrogs that live in my back yard maybe Clint you can do a video on bullfrogs they are rad pets too
I think I just leapt 40 years into the past. You look just like the host of a nature show in the early 1980's! ..adding a link to a clip of the show ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cMHrLh1dqIg.html
It was the perfect choice. I'm watching him as you're talking and he is almost purring with his body language. It almost looked like he was falling asleep. I just loved when he took that deep breath and let out a heavy sigh and then just relaxed and his little legs underneath himself to chill with you. I love this frog
Everyone talks about how AMAZING the videos are, and I agree wholeheartedly, but the DESCRIPTION!!! It must have taken hours to find all those links, and then even LONGER to copy and paste them all into the description. It may not be Clint's job to do it, but whoever's it is, _GREAT_ JOB!!!
👏👏👏👏 Jason and Clint do a lot of work and a great job with many behind the scenes tasks that most will never even know about. It's nice when people notice the little things. Happy Saturday! ✌️😁💋
I’ve never heard of these little guys before.. The look stunning. I love that this channel is not just about reptiles! Please keep doing videos on various animals, they’re so interesting to watch!
Carl Johnson Then he’d be starting a whole new channel, limited subs, no monetisation! That makes no sense at all from a RU-vid stand point just because of a name.
Carl Johnson So don’t watch those videos? I’m sorry, it clearly says in the title what the video is going to be about. I’m rather confused as to why it’s so terribly upsetting to some people when a channel branches out, especially with topics that need so much research to provide quality content. This is a whole channel, not just a tv series that is limited in number. I’m also surprised when someone has an interest in reptiles wouldn’t be understanding that people with that same interest would also like to learn about insects and amphibians. It’s like...what if Snake Discovery could only talk about snakes, that it! Nothing else, simply because of the name of their channel.
Hey I know I'm a little late to the party but congrats on finishing your PhD!!! I finished my Master's in Genetics in December and I know it can be a long and arduous process with many hoops to jump through. But it's so worth it to get to do what you love and share that love with the next generation of scientists! Your videos are so positive and so informative and really just show just how beautiful and diverse our ecosystem is. Keep up the great work 😁
Oh I'm dying from cuteness. While you were talking he stood up and moved a little bit and then you could see he did a deep breath and a heavy sigh and then just put his feet in underneath himself and relaxed. That was so mammal like. He is just enjoying himself and feels very safe on your finger...ssooooooo cute🐸🐸
pearplane pretty certain I have a male, however I am yet to hear a call. This could be because I don’t keep mine in my room and I simply do not him calling in the night. I have seen a few yt vids of them though and the calls do seem quite loud!
My kids and I love ours. They are super social and when refilling their insect & water area they will jump onto you, climb up our arm & just sit there. We always use gloves. We love watching them and listening.
Little precision about handling them : when feeling threatened the Trachycephalus genus is capable of excreting a paste like mucus that will not penetrate skin but will irritate you a lot if it touches your eyes, mouth skin or a flesh cut so that's another reason to wear gloves with these guys. (I experimented it on a wound and it stings a bit, nothing really bad, but i've been told that on the eyes it can even cause a temporary blindness at large dose)
this video is somehow so incredibly comforting, its so amazing, their voice is just so comforting and makes me feel so safe, like a just a little kid listening to this amazing human talk to me about beautiful creatures, it feels so innocent and pure
The milk frog is one of the species I point to to show that Frogs really are such beautiful creatures. There are so many different shapes, sizes, and colors of frogs. Thank you for this video!
Dude you are sincerely the most adorable person on RU-vid. You have so much legitimate passion for these animals, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for you.
They honestly look like happy tiny children. They have a large smile from how big their mouths are and they just have these gorgeous eyes for a frog. They look just plain out happy.
Your kindness and pure joy that you get from these animals are so genuine that it makes the videos outstanding. I'm currently in college and I live in a dorm so keeping any animals other than one fish is not allowed but I still watch your incredible videos. They are thoughtful and informative, yet comical. Thank you for what you do for us as the viewer and for the animals you keep
These guys are so cute and very chill. I handle them at work (at a zoo). They will just get comfy on your hand and hang out. (We do wear nitrile gloves misted with RO water, or wash and rinse SUPER well). Their toes are so adorable!
I just watch the blue tongue skink video and thought that you were super informative. That video was from 2017 so I said let me check if he still does videos. Many years later and your exactly the same. GOOD , GLAD you maintained your awesome personality.
I've met one individual of a different species, Trachycephalus typhonius, in the wild and it was beautiful, its eyes looked like gold. It became my favorite frog instantly.
You must have mr. Rogers Spirit within you Clint. From the minute you greet us until the moment you're finished you show such care and love for all the reptiles in the world. I'm really grateful that you are on RU-vid and teaching us things about these amazing creatures. There's just one thing that blew my mind and that was birds are considered reptiles. Nobody I tried to tell believe me but it's the truth and I learned it from you. And I want a lot of bets thanks to you so thank you mr. Reptile lover I am your newest and greatest fan.👍🤗🐥🐍🐸🐊🦖🦕
@@deanhodgson5322 rad = short for radical. It's slang that isn't as commonly used now as it was maybe 20 or so years ago when I was a kid. Roughly synonymous with "extremely cool".
I just happened to find your video and I'm so happy about the bite size chunks and good info about these little guys. I fell in love with Amazon Milk Frogs after I saw a few of them in another youtuber's video. I'm glad to heard by amphibian standards they're on the hardier side and easier to care for. It's good to know that they're becoming more common to find, which mean once I feel well researched and in a position to make a commitment for a pet frog, I shouldn't have too hard of a time getting one of these little guys.
Halfway through the video and this frog is still super chill. I half expected to see it make a break for it as soon as you looked away, like most baby frogs.
I thought I was hearing things and I had to pause my video to see if it really was coming through from your end of it. And I was right it was coming from your studio into my ears. You're playing pipe organ church music in the background Clint. Kind of cool but kind of curious. I wonder if anybody else picked up on that? Do your tree frogs prefer pipe organ music? Or are they able to listen to other genres of music? Just another thing makes me just adore you and this whole Channel. I love pipe organ music.
GoodMorning Clint! I love that little frog but frogs give me the Willie's! :/ Maybe in the future they can help me get over my fear! Lol Can you do an episode on Cockatiels? They are reptiles!😉
Haha maybe the white and blue shirt wasn’t the best choice, Clint. You look awesome in it, but there were a few moments when I didn’t even realize the frog was in the shot since he blended so well with the colors XD.
Yes!! I've been desperately waiting for this video one day. These are by far one of my favorite amphibians, not just frogs, but I know better than to just go get one without the proper knowledge and there are few sources I trust like this one!
YES! I never clicked on a video so fast. I love Amazon milk frogs. I would love to see more amphibian content. Maybe one covering vietnamese mossy frogs? 👀
Oh My Word!!!! They are SO cute! I have a couple of years. I want to start my boys off with a vivarium and some frogs because, they're just so cute and I feel like it's different. I have had my heart set on dart frogs... But now... Oh man I REALLY like these guys.
If you ever get the chance you should cover the Central American Banded Gecko, I got one recently and they're an incredible little gecko, but there really isn't much info on them online
Amphibians are really great as pets you watch rather than touch. I was going to recommend dart frogs but I see you'll probably do them in the future. They're so tiny and cute.
His frog is so cute! I’m so curious about poison dart frogs as a pet, and would love to know your opinion on them and how you’d rate them. Absolutely love all of your videos, can’t wait to see what you upload next
@@gringoamigo8146 they can be kept as pets due to the fact that they aren't going to get the prey animals that make them poisonous in captivity the ones that are in zoos aren't poisonous for the same reason
I so need a Amazon milk frog or two in my life! They are one of my top amphibians I must own. But I never see them listed much in the UK. They are very similar to the whites tree frog and as I have two whites I think the care would be the same for them. So they would fit nicely in with me. Deffo need more amphibian videos and you couldn’t of picked a more perfect tree frog to show on the camera. Trully stunning and I love how you describe the froglet Black and white with a constellation of white dots on the back of the frog! They are mesmerising. Thank you for the video. That little froglet has stolen my heart 💚
Loving the amphibian content! Maybe soon we could see dart frogs? Azureus, green and blacks, bumblebee! The more commonly available sorts for people who'd like to get in to these wonderful creatures!
Had a terrarium with 4.. VERY costly.. They do these like head nods that look like they're doing a push up.. They only ate fruit flies.. Which at the time I always had to order cuz they were rarely in stock any where around here.. I tried like the lil baby pin crickets and they wouldn't touch em.. As soon as the fruit flies got put in.. THEY'D GO CRAZY!!.. GULPING EM' UP.... I want to get back into amphibians.. I had a marine bufo toad.. Dart Frogs.. BY FAR MY FAV. WAS THE WHITES TREE FROG.. VERY LAID BACK.. WOULD EAT RIGHT OUT OF MY HAND.... If I do get another frog in the future.. It'd be one of them..
Im kinda early so u might see it and i wanna thank u very much bc you help me understand reptiles better and now im not as afraid and i even want one so anyway thnk you clint
Do you have any plans to speak about rain frogs or bumblebee toads in the future? Rain frogs are my favourite frogs ever and bumblebee toads are awesome little guys, love your channel! Keep up the great work :)
Ah, I see you can get all your supplies for amazon milk frogs from Amazon! These are actually on my list, too. Honestly the larger size was what has slowed me down from getting them. So far the only frogs I keep are dart frogs. (WHICH YOU NEED TO COVER CUZ THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS AND THEY'RE WONDERFUL) I really love these videos, Clint! I just had a huge grin on my face when I saw this one pop up.
I really like that little guy. I think I would like to have one. I had a very tiny green tree frog and he was just the coolest little thing. He liked to sit right on the inside of my wrist. I think that he may have felt the warmness.
Please make a video on Pac-Man frogs 🐸 I’ve got one and it’s an adorable blob sitting there and waiting for food. Everyone thinks I’m insane for paying 85$ for a frog but it lives up to 20-30 years and looks so nice and I really love it! It was definitely a great decision for me
YES! More amphibians!!! I want some amazon milk frogs someday but I currently have 11 frogs and I think that's the max for me. But someday I'm sure I will be adopting some of these buddies.
Milk frog with marble eyes (mangled cat) hides behind a heart bat with a square missing from the middle due to mutiny then becomes a toy raptor t rex from rugrats 😂 All of it is misty and grey to cover the white airplane tent 😂
Another great video! I just picked up 2 milk frogs yesterday at a local expo. I’m excited to start the new build for them. I would love to see a video on clown tree frogs.
Clint can you do a video on quarantining new pets like a how to, why and all the other things that should be known. Thanks for sharing all your videos and knowledge. Absolutely love your content.
