Found the problem!! I had been chasing a P164B00 code on the car and was starting to give up hope but then saw that some people were dealing with cheap/ bad oil filters causing the same issues. I then went on the amazon listing for the filter housing to see what brand filters it came with and when I did that I saw that 3 people had left reviews and said the housing was triggering codes for improper oil flow on the cars.
