We used to go to a family resort every summer with my husband’s entire family. The first day at the pool was like the modest swim suit fashion show. All the young mom’s would go down anxiously, thinking they were the only ones who wanted coverage and practically laugh out loud at everyone else thinking the same thing. All the swim dresses, tankinis and swim shorts came to play!! It was a great moment each year as we met one another’s eyes. Big smiles, big sisterhood.
Great video and go you! I personally have two swimsuit modes- the getting in the water and being active mode or the lounging by the pool/on the beach mode. The active suit is a 3/4 sleeve light weight rashguard shirt (two sizes too big) with a separate light weight sports bra and swim shorts the lounging/to be seen suit is generally a cute little swim dress under an umbrella. I'm going to go check out the Hanna Nikole suits! Take care of yourself!

Do it! I’m 71 had not worn a bathing suit in years! After starting watching Meredith I now wear all kinds of clothes and I Love it! The suits for us plus size girls are made very nice now too.
Honestly, the only ones I didn't care for were the green one and the keyhole one. I loved the dress and it was a twirly one for you! You are such a joy to watch with your down to earth , friendly manner and of course your beautiful smile. Love ya!

Hope things went to plan and you're tucked into your room, resting and starting your recovery. Just realized that that might not yet be true - it's just after noon on the East coast so I think an hour behind. It's all okay because by the time you read this, you'll probably even be at home! 😊 I LOVE that sundress! And I LOVE it on you! There's nothing I don't like about it at all - it's perfect! Which makes it suitable for you, also perfect! You look so comfortable in it! On the swimsuit front, I love that you picked a variety of styles but still all with modest bottom coverage. My hands down favorite on you was the sporty hibiscus suit with the matching trim on the legs and the zipper at the neckline. I was alarming the dog again, saying, "No! Meredith, that's the cutest suit on you!" And then your editing note popped up saying you loved it, too, after seeing it on yourself. The black sides with the print panels down the front and back are classically flattering. And the colors are so pretty! I love the zipper - it looks good both ways. I liked the pink dress and the paisley tankini. The tankini top seemed just an inch too short at first then I watched again and decided I was crazy first time around! 😂 it looks fine! I liked the first one with the teal top over the sports bra, too. All were great and I'm glad you have a stock for wearing in your lovely pool! Not a fan of the green suit or the suit with the rash guard top. They looked a bit too clingy, which I found sad because I burn like nobody's business and the rash guard would be great. The green might, as you pointed out, just be a feature of the color. Also, maybe the cut on those just runs smaller. Or the fabric has a clingier quality to it. It might be one that needs to be sized up, but would the bottoms then be too big? I really would have liked the blue and white swim dress without the peek-a-boo tummy! 😂 I think that's a no-go on pretty much anyone who wants the coverage of a swim dress... Yay for swimsuits! At 73 I have more than I ever did but that’s because of going to water aerobics at the Y! Everything has to be chlorine resistant so that’s maybe why these haven’t crossed my path before. And I need something that’s going to stay in place when I’m jumping around u the pool. Some tankini types work but only when fitted. That pink surprised me! And I think it looks great without the tie. So flattering! I actually liked the zipper one too. And the design of the rash guard is fantastic. If you wear it to the beach please let us know how it feels in an afternoon in the sun. Comfortable or too hot? The price of some of those suits would be worth it for the bottoms alone. I have several tankini tops I bough without bottoms but bottoms sometimes cost as much as the sake prices here! When I first saw you hold up the sporty hibiscus one in the house, I did not like it. But after seeing you in it, it looked really good on you and I was surprised that I really like it. I think it’s my favorite.
Hi Meredith. My favorites are the pink untied, the paisley tankini, and especially the sporty suit. I would never have tried that one on because I too prefer more feminine styles but that is So Flattering on you! I know I liked some of the others but now forget which ones 🤭. I love a good swimsuit haul!! My favorite on you was the one with the zipper on the shirt. The long sleeve rash guard swimsuit would've made my top three if it wasn't for those pads! I know all the swimsuits had the same pads, but for some reason they were really noticeable on that one! I think if you took out the pads it would look great! The pink one is adorable too!! I have always had a hard time finding a swimsuit I liked on me. The one place I always had great luck at is Dillards! They carry so many different brands that I never left out of that store empty handed! The only negative is that it's expensive unless they are having a sale!

The one with the sports bra underneath looks like a Nike one I bought. The top alone was $90 ten years ago. Nice to see less expensive alternatives. I have never tried a rash guard, are they hot when you are out of the pool? Another great video. 🩱

I love the hot pink untied! The sporty suit with the hibiscus print is my favorite though. I'd definitely wear that suit. The green suit with the light print shorts is my least favorite. I wish I had found this brand when I was looking for a suit a couple of years ago. How did you figure out sizing? By comparing your measurements to their sizing chart? I struggled so much with that.

I have the exact same dilemma you have with your arms and inner thighs…😩😩 But we are much harder on ourselves than we need to be! My absolute favourite was the pink one and being untied! My second absolute favourite was the teal and black tankini! The colour and pattern were the bomb and it looked very slimming on you❣️❣️
I absolutely love that sun dress. I wish I would have seen it before I bought a floral sundress at Lane Bryant. I needed a dress for a summer casual wedding, and that would have totally done the trick.
What Perfect timing! Thanks! I'm planning a kayaking trip down the Buffalo River and need a suit that I can be comfortable in. Suit number 3 is the one! The shorts are longer so they will cover more when I'm sitting (plus I don't show my inner thighs either) and the top has the wide t shirt straps which means I won't be constantly adjusting. I also like the first suit but the length of the shorts and the t shirt straps, on the third suit, put it on top for me. I do love that dress you're wearing too!
Great haul! I did love the last one but my problem area is my back fat so I don’t think I would like the back. I love the pink! Pink is my favorite color so I’m biased towards pink lol
Bloomchick has some really flattering, plus size swim wear. I did get the capri type swim bottoms with ties. It helps hide my road maps on my legs. They also have some that have a shear covering on the arms. Much more choices than Amazon and pretty true to size. Great quality and doesn’t take too long to get to Houston.
Wasn't keen on the green one. The way it wrapped in front wasn't - IMO - flattering. I LOVED the pink one on you and the one with the sport bra. Keep up the great job! Love watching you try and buy.
I have just recently found your channel. I love your body positivity. I am now a meme at a size 16. Going back to your early videos, you would not wear sleeveless or heaven forbid tiny straps, because you would feel nakedy. You are such a great example to be happy in our own skin. Love you even though you are in Texas and I 'm from Oklahoma. GO POKES
I thought the pink one looked more flattering tied, myself. Gives a nice taper towards the knee, hence a leaner more balanced look. I liked the blue and white one piece on you too but I know you're not usually super keen on cutouts. Dress is cute too. Cudos for being willing to put yourself online in swimwear. I don't think many people, of any size, shape or whatever, would have that kind of confidence. I personally couldn’t do it.
I live in the high desert in Southern California and I love the rash guard. It will allow me to swim at anytime of the day. It's hard to find rash guards for BBW.
I really like that dress. I understand about the inner thigh area. I have lost approx 130 lb and my inner thighs are just nasty. Yours look just fine. I just recently ordered the bathing suit with the longer shorts. I’m hoping it looks ok. I’m also in a wheelchair so my legs look strange anyway. Lol. I’ve been a paraplegic for 25 yrs now. I used to love to get in the pool. Now our local indoor pool doesn’t have a lift anymore. But I’m hoping soon. Lol
That pink swimsuit with the split, pointy hem was a revelation to me. I have one of those in a blue and pink pattern and I never realised that it was meant to be tied. I bought it from vinted so there was no video shown. 🙀
