I found you through pathologic 2 video and got hooked by your storytelling ability! I worked many minimum wage jobs, and I know how terrible it feels to be abused by cooperate greed. This video really changed my mind to unsubscribe Amazon Prime, and I thank you for producing meaningful content.
I dealt with very similar policies as a mail carrier for USPS. I worked there for 4 years and quickly learned that if you wanted to get your route done on time, you had to break safety rules and skip breaks. I would routinely buy drinks with wider mouthed bottles just so I'd have somewhere I could pee later because I knew if I went to a business with a restroom I'd be behind and get punished. I ended up becoming a union steward, and what I learned is that my job was primarily to fight unjust safety violations. there was almost no time to do anything that would make a positive, structural impact because the union was bogged down with nothing but safety grievances. thanks for doing this video, I feel a lot of solidarity with those Amazon employees
Government underfunding means government workers absolutely struggle with similar issues. Unions are the only things keeping people even remotely safe. Thank you for your work.
Another great vid. It’s truly despicable the way they’re able to put people in situations where they have no choice but to break rules/safety regulations, and then fire them for it. Amazon has figured out how to use use these regulations against the very people they’re meant to protect.
