Installing amazon underglow kit. Update* the exact kit doesn't appear to be on Amazon anymore so this looks to be the closest to it. Since it's not the same, I can't attest to its quality. www.amazon.com/Underglow-Blue...
Absolutely worth it !!! Looks damn good bro and I think I may have just found the kit that I want to get thanks to your video. Nice job man and thanks... great video !!
Thanks for the review bro! Looks so fucking dope on your car, the rainbow glow looks surreal🔥 Had my kit for a week & Gonna finally get it installed on my 14 Mustang 💯 Subscribed!
I was thinking about underglow for my Q50 as well. Now that I see you have installed it, as well as the way you wired it to your tail lights. Hell Yeah I'm gonna put it on my car. Looks effing amazing.
@@inthelifeofleif8268 okay so I have a small question. When you turn the car on without the tail lights being on, the strip is not working correct since it gets power from the tail lights. Also is the strip always on? Or can you leave it turned off even when your tail lights are on via app? Just trying to make sure the look I'm going for will work with the setup you have.
Wow I lucked out and got a this exact kit before it was gone .. sheesh , this was probably the best and easiest kit to install that I’ve came across to .
Yea it seemed to work for me just fine. I will say, one half of my fronts have failed :( not sure what to do. I may just move the one have to be more central
@@inthelifeofleif8268 was excited for it. Came in the mail and it was used. No hardware, no 12v adapter, the 3m tape was gone and it was sticking to itself and wires were already crimped together 🤦♂️
I’ve always always always ran my lighting for either interior or exterior to a little switch. 1 switch for exterior and 1 for interior so if I didn’t want the exterior on but the inside on I could or Vice versa. That’s the easiest way to do it. Hardwire to the battery and boom
That's what I'm planning on doing. Bought some LED button switches. Just alot easier and better than straight up throwing it to battery. The cosmetics look great
I fit this for people now done more and more then wire up the boot drain plug to the back side lights so come on with the side lights and control with the phone app it’s looking good and more getting done
Always run mine from the battery and place whatever kind of control box near my air intake inside the heat barrier wall. Once I'm done flashing lights for the night I disconnect main cord from power box. Might check these lights out tho
Hey bud those lights came in from amizon I asked if you could install them I live in Indianapolis How can I get ahold of you for u to install them thanks man 👍
Do you always have to turn it on and off or does it automatically shut off after your lights shut off? And do you think the lights coming on when you unlock your car is because you ran it to the tail lights instead of the plug in or fuse box
I just did mine earlier. I couldn’t even wait to do it. I waited too late yesterday and tried but them biters out there said nope not today 😂😂 I put my power on the battery but since the cords are ran to the front can I hook it to my front lights? I want the unlock feature too 😍😍😍😍😍 Nice work
So, they're always on when you turn your parking lights on!? I hope that's not what is happening! Best way is to wire a switch to your battery / under hood fuse panel, then mount the switch somewhere into the cabin near your driver seat & then you can easily access the switch to turn your lights on & off, whenever you like! Why you'd ever always want to have these on, makes zero sense to me. Especially, given that these are illegal in the United States & being able to kill power to these in a hurry, would be very beneficial!
Just installed mines also. I did use the cigarette adapter but then switched to an add a fuse and tapped into accessories. Or I can switch to a constant hot to run them when the vehicle is off.
@@BryanCruz-vf4dj Yes you can choose what color you want and you can use the slider to create a solid color. It's a great kit I've had it for a year now an no issues I've used every color an the rainbow floating is awesome
@@inthelifeofleif8268 Yeah mines hooked up to my fog light in which I can turn them on and off by the switch. So with them hooked up to your brake Light's they don't stop motion when you apply brake ?
@Infatuateed _ To be honest I just stripped back a bit of wire off my fog light on the driver side an just wired my power wires up an used electrical tape , just so I could cut them on & off with the fog lights. Depends on what make an model you have, You may have to drop the bumper an remove the headlight like I did. But if you don't have to do that just run your power wires through the firewall or through the fender to reach your lights.
@Infatuateed _ you can use those wire splice connectors an just lock the wires together as well. I wouldn't run any lights to the battery at all nore the fues box. But on these type of Underglow lights make sure you use some clear silicone spread it on the lines of the control box for added protection.
But that way you can't use the remote because it has to be line of sight to the controller box. That's if you don't want any of the cool lighting effect happening, just one colour.
one of the cleaner installs because u hid the lights, it always looks cheesy when U can see the actual light strip. makes it look cheap and low end. Nice work on hiding the strips...much nicer look
Should have just bought an inline fuse, put it into the fog lights or headlights spot in the fuse box. That way, you don't have to splice into any factory wiring, and if one of the fuses pop, you'll know exactly what caused it.
@@inthelifeofleif8268 That'd what I figured. It was a while back. I'm just now doing this on my Veloster and came across your video. Looks super dope, though!
@@inthelifeofleif8268 hey what’s up bud the lights came in from amizon can you still install the lights on my girls 2021 Jeep Wrangler send me you’re contact # thanks
At 3:45 I've have determined that this guy has not reviewed how he's going to install these lights. You would think that he would have inspected the car first, instead of saying "I don't how I'm going to"....right off the get go, instilling little confidence when manplaining about the options regarding the power hook ups. Power will have to come thro the firewall if you don't want wires leading out the underside of one of the door to the lights. Just saying.
Strange, why would you want the police to spot you. All that Light is not hard to follow. To properly connect this you need a switch with a relay and 1 dioded.
Must not be the smartest bulb in the world but you run your lights from the front with the control box and run that power wire up and run the cigarette adapter wire thru your firewall and run the wire inside and tuck them and hide them and plug your cigarette adapter into you 12v plug😂😂😂
@@inthelifeofleif8268 👍🏼👍🏼. Looks like these are made by same co just different names. Korjo lights seem 2b the same. People contacted seller and was able to get replacement strips. ??
