I paid $300 for my blue Euro light underglow kit back in 2001 and it does one color and you have to remove the tubes every winter. We have come a long way .

I had a friend who not only had the underglow but he added a small fog machine for under his car. At the touch of a button there would be a fog underglow that had an amazing look.

Word of advice: use wire loom and gorilla double sided tape to make it REALLY stick so you don’t have to use zip ties. Plus using rubbing alcohol is a great idea too.

For me, there was this video online about the Yakuza cars in Japan, where they had these neon-lit Lambos going through Tokyo at night. Between that and retro cyberpunk (Outrun, Kvinsky) my entire aesthetic is defined.
