@WALTERBROADDUS this guy is a bad example but otherwise a good sane person should be able to carry and protect themselves ESPECIALLY in todays world. F the company who only care about themselves and money. They would not give a damn what happened to their employees
@@macharrington7733 in fairness to Amazon. Typically drivers are actually third-party hires. Through like a temp service. Your shirt may say Amazon; but your paycheck doesn't come from them.
Being an Amazon driver doest give you authority to block traffic, neither does a USPS driver, or any driver for that matter, except EMS of course. That Amazon driver needs to pop a chill pill, i can understand why they carry considering the amount of attacks against them, but ffs dude, it was a fricken school bus...and now youll become a convinced felon.
This comment makes too much sense and is SPOT on, but of course the many many senseless ppl out here won't understand or take heed to it. Declining society.
@WackoyouTubestandards So this Amazon driver had the right to shoot at someone for asking him to move his illegally parked van a few feet? Granted I wasn't there, and I don't know what was said. I grew up in Philly and can imagine it went something like "Can ya move?" "Nope". "expletive". "shows gun"! "more expletives"! "shots fired". And then kids run away with another story of gun violence to talk about with their therapist. So I ask...Who is "protecting themselves"?
@AesopsFables007 I suppose there will be lawyers contacting the families of the children. Claiming emotional distress and potential harm? Amazon would probably counter that the employee; is not a direct employee. But a subcontractor. I know when I work for FedEx ground. You actually work for a third-party temp service. Your uniform may say FedEx. But they don't sign the checks. Amazon will also claimed that the drivers operating outside of company policy by having a weapon. Almost all these companies have corporate policies against firearms. At the workplace or on duty. UPS and the Postal Service have similar policy.
0:49 As a person who works on Conflict resolution and just interacting with humans! HOW COULD SUCH A SIMPLE REQUEST TURN TO THIS?! I just wish humans under how to speak to people this is absolutely insane
I live in that area. Parking is a nightmare. I'm sure he probably spent 20 mins trying to figure out where to park. Also, PPA will still give Amazon and any delivery service a ticket. It's frustrating. But to pull out a gun over this issue is insanity and he'll spend time in prison regretting this decision.
@@KyleKeenan-x8w@user-np1li2ik9f in theory yes. But in reality, people Rob Amazon drivers all the time. It's obviously stupid because there's no way to know what's in a package. But criminals do it so a number of drivers are packing.
My friend, the “bringer of truth”, I hope it’s not a race thing, bc the whole world just witnessed a young Caucasian male try to shoot a presidential candidate. Stop it.
If your package still shows out for delivery it might be a minute, I'd be hoping that they don't impound it for evidence cuz you know everything's going to disappear.
More like certain areas of the USA--not the world. Cities in Poland and Czech are not full of craziness like in the USA--and I am from the USA. I have a friend who moved to Taiwan who will not move back to the US and it's because of the behavior culture there.
@@citizencoy4393 You are very welcome. In 2022 I walked through various cities in Poland and the jewelry stores had their goods on display as you walked by at night time after the store was closed. A camera store in Vienna was the same way--all of their expensive cameras and lenses right in the window at dark after the store closed.
@@Prince_Nice87 Incorrect. They may be a completely independent contractor or a 1099 through an agency. Amazon avoids paying benefits this way. FedEx ground operates the same way.
@@babajinde Yes but ultimately they're delivering for Amazon. All Amazon's policies apply to those contractors and it's still Amazon who provides payment.
School buses are a pain in the ass from late August until mid June! I don’t take either side! A few weeks ago,in Franklin Massachusetts,I had to go to the extreme right of a road, hitting a pothole to avoid being sideswiped by an Amazon delivery truck during a heavy rain storm! I damaged my suspension in that pothole.
Now he MAD 😠 Af hungry as hell Bouncing his Sober Dome Off The cell Walls 🧱 knowing he Fired from Amazon... Life is getting TOUGH on alot of People in America 🇺🇸...
@dstaff7373 still no excuse, jus giving perspective. True story life is tough. But u know what they say, when the going gets tough...........💯 stressed to limits. Gotta learn to ventilate that steam. Glad everyone is ok. He won't be in jail forever. Hopefully enough time to learn how to de escalate himself. Hopefully Amazon can find ways to not pour it on these poor ppl also. Doubt it but it would help.
Thats Amazon. The driver doesn't even work for Amazon he works for a subcontractor, so even Amazon doesn't get sued. That's why drivers dont care because the wage and benefits are getting eaten up by a small business who drivers actually work for.
There's really never anywhere to park down in south Philly. Tbh, you can't blame 'em for how they improvise on parking because you can't hold the street too long or ppl will start getting irate and impatient. It's too compact, small streets, heavy traffic, and just so many annoying in a hurry road raging drivers down there. But shooting at someone over a parking dispute wasn't the right call.
Im not defending the violence in anyway However those saying he shudnt be carrying dont realize how dangerous delivery driving is for one. You dont have money but you have expensive cargo. Another thing, people saying to take a chill pill probably also dont understand how stressful it is to be A) a delivery driver, B) in south philly, C) working for Amazon, I used to deliver tastylakes in center city wit the PPA on my ass and the company doesnt pay for tickets and also has you on a very tight time table and loading zones only do some much Im just saying this kinda thing just doesnt surprise me. Our city, especially in south philly, has a severe parking problem that is only exasperated by the corrupt, money grubbing, PPA. ALL these signs for hour parking and no parking, the new curb add ons to decrease available parkin spots and such werent here 10 or 20 years ago, why are they everywhere now? Cause the city and the most corrupt bueracratic corporation ever are making a killing while people are going MAD circling the same city block for 2 3 hours trying to park
Wait lets get this straight! Bus driver gets of the bus , approaches Amazon driver, things get heated the Amazon driver pulls out his firearm and shoots ? Any video footage caught on surveillance?
Everybody thinks their job is the most important, the school bus aide probably said it a certain way ... everybody wants their package but nobody gives af about what the drivers go through
@@mikamakawee3321Right! These mofos out here think they can pull their guns just because someone says something (that's 9 times out of 10 true) that they don't like! These mofos be trippin. It's a problem.
