Phenomenal video as always and I am so happy you are going down this route of discussing these spiritual beliefs that involve these psychoactive substances. Absolutely deep and fascinating side of spirituality that I think gets overlooked by many academics. Ayahuasca is a such a profound personal experience that any explanation does not do justice, it truly is something that must be felt by the individual.
Thank-you! That was good to hear. I imagine most of my listen time here is also commuter time. I teach at Cal State in Sacramento in the Philosophy and in the Humanities and Religious Studies departments.
Thanks David! Some of the older videos are not as good due to the intense pressure during Covid to get out quantity across many classes, but the Wixarika/Huichol one in this series is newer, and the Classical Mythology course is dialed-in from start to finish, I'd go there next if you like this one. Phil in Literature also more recent if a work in progress. The playlist courses other than Classical and Lit tend to have a mixture of newer and older vids, and I may get around to updating some and adding new ones.
