I did use the mixing bottle when i got my first saw, because it was handy for mixing 25:1 and I liked it. But after I found out how good the saws were and stopped using my other saws, I went to mixing 25:1 gas by the gallon.
i'm just a simple homeowner with not a lot of trees but always loved top handled chainsaws so i took and a gamble and bought this little guy and have to say, it's a blast to use. i upgraded the plug and put an Oregon chain on it and for its intended purpose, which seems to be light duty limbing and pruning, it works just fine. starts right up and is fun to use. i have another cheap chinese saw that was even cheaper than this and this one blows it away, including the chain brake if you can believe that. i actually do use the gas jug and filter because the 35:1 mixture (it also says 25:1 but on the saw it states to use 35:1 ) it comes in handy, as does the funnel because those ports are so small. i also love the little gas gauge window on the side. for the homeowner it's just way cooler than an electric pruner. for a pro? i'm sure it works just fine as a backup that you don't care too much what happens to it
I have the red Chainsaw Chainsaw also bought from Amazon about 2 years ago. Holds a tune, starts 2nd pull every time, and rips pretty damn well for what it is! Its a throw it on the 4 wheeler, back of the truck, motorcycle...whatever saw. It leaks bar oil when sitting, but other than that i think its a damn good value for the money!
After after having and running this saw for 2 months what are your thoughts? ..i just ordered the same one last night for 105$ ( with 30% off coupon) it should be here by the 8th
It’s not bad for the money it starts up every time, and has enough power to do the job it’s intended for. If I’m being totally honest enough i do prefer to use my Milwaukee m18 top handle more . It just has more torque and speed . But that being said I think you will be happy with it. It’s not a bad little saw.
