I don't think he will return to pirates. he said so himself. but not only that Hollywood has shown many times they don't care about public opinion. just look at woke culture. woke movies are doing terrible, but they still make them. year after year. its a good result for Johnny and male victims. almost all my exes have taken advantage of the fact i (a man) wont hit them. I think more women do this than is publicly believed. some women be crazy.
I don’t blame him for not wanting to return, they treated him horribly. While Margot is a great actress, without Johnny I have no interest in Pirates 6…Captain Jack Sparrow IS Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s too bad they ruined their chances with him, a Pirates film with Johnny and Margot as co-stars would have been awesome….They’re both so good at portraying eccentric characters
Women defending Amber still is baffling. The verdict wasn't a setback for women, Amber lying and manipulating the system is what setback victims of DV.
Her defendants are all major red flags. Their partners, coworkers and families needs to save themselves and tr*sh them out before it is too late. *Trust me.*
My husband was blatantly abused by his ex wife but it took years for him to acknowledge it because he didn't think men could be abused by women. He finally realized after being in a genuinely healthy relationship how dark his past relationship got.
@@sadesemoluabsolutely true. I was in a very abusive relationship for 6 years and kinda just gave up for awhile and felt that would be my life. Decided fuck that and got out and ended up in an amazing relationship. I think for men it's far harder to admit to themselves they are being abused because it's really hammered in from a young age that men are strong and women couldn't possibly be the abusers because we're the weaker sex. That's a blatant lie and a dangerous one at that.
@Mackenzie I knew men absolutely can be abused by women. How do I know? Fucking Sam Puckett and that shallow twat Carly Shay when they mentally, verbally and physically abused Freddie Benson in iCarly. I hate that I watched the show as a kid, or any Dan Schneider show that seemed suspicious, but at the time innocent and naive my mind was. I couldn't have expected that Dan Schneider was a monster, even worse the parents that forced an acting career that their kid never asked for. Looking back at the episodes of iCarly I always hated Sam because she was a bully twat to Freddie and I was bullied, so I can only imagine what Freddie felt about that. Then Dan Schneider made Sam and Freddie date. Even when they dated, Sam abused Freddie and everyone laughed at that. The only character that was against it was Freddie's mother and she was right. I also wish Freddie never simped for Carly, she didn't give two shits about him. I know it's a television show, but it helps elevate my point that society does not care about men who experience abuse. Hell, it's in films and shows we watch. It's sad.
My brother was assaulted by a former girlfriend. She called the cops on him for holding her hands down. She managed to break his glasses and had clear injuries to his face. Yet he was still arrested for 'assulting' her. Every man that has been assaulted is rejoicing.
and especially as an abuser. that's why he unloaded everything. he let out all of his secrets and skeletons. more people need to do things like that, nobody can use anything against them
it wasnt fake accusations though, the jury literally said johnny did abuse her i feel like most people are just chatting defending one party when both of them are horrible and had a horrible toxic abusive relationship
@@yasso2031 You are a fucken idiot. Johnny won all of the cases except one which was not about abuse. "both of them are horrible and had a horrible toxic abusive relationship" bullshit she was the abuser and was found guilty on it. Go fuck yourself. People like are the problem with society.
That's the truth of it all. He already lost. This was just to tie up some lose ends so he can die in peace knowing he was able to clear at least part of his name with some. But it will never be the same. Time has no roll backs. 6 years is a long time to lose. And forever to get back.
I was falsely accused. It was a traumatic time in my life. This lawsuit has been healing for me. Not because Johnny Depp won, but because of the amounts of women coming forward and looking at the facts, not just blindly listening to the gender.
Not all of us are secular and biased by bullshit. I endured child abuse and sexual abuse early on, so seeing some bitch mock this and make a complete joke of what I, and many other PEOPLE, not just women, but men also, have endured, infuriates me to no end. And because of her status in society, she is going to get away with it, legally. Now, obviously she lost suit, but I want her to be completely destroyed in the way she did to Depp.
Same here man. My abuser never made it public or called the police but she definitely tried to ruin my relationships with family, friends and even co-workers. She was also narcissistic and bi-polar. She was the one that got physical. She never "beat my ass" or anything but she would slap me REALLY HARD, push me and basically do and say just about anything to keep me from walking away from her.. hell, she even drugged me on a couple occasions. But, with drugs I'd already done or have done before. The physical stuff never really traumatized me though. It was the constant lies, manipulation, psychological and emotional abuse that left a stain on my soul. This trial has been cathartic for me, by being able to chat with so many other like-minded people, like I'm doing here. My only regret really was that my dumbass thought, through my own hubris I suppose, that I could somehow change her for the better and ultimately help make her whole. Now, I can spot the troublesome ones from a mile away 🙏
@@Loki_Yogi just so you know man those slaps and attacks were psychological trauma too, she made you think so little of yourself and highly of her, that you were literally okay with being her scratching post and not seeing your own value man, nobody should lay their hands on you much less a loved one. Ppl should never fully believe anything a man or woman says without tangible evidence. It's a long known fact that ppl lie about anything from the longest.
I am glad Johnny won who has common sense and evidence. In all honesty afro_buddha, I believe he does not care about the money. His goal is to expose her.
We went from never believing victims to believe all victims, but only if they're female. I never, never liked the mentality of believe all victims and all accusations because it reeks of guilty without any kind of burden of proof. You can't even ask questions without looking like you're victim blaming which is stupid. We know people lie. Skepticism and critical thinking don't exist anymore.
@@wiltordgunter9539 I do think there wasn't too much fairness in the system for women. Not when the man was middle class or poor but when the man was rich. Someone who came back from a bad image is Robert Downey Junior. The same Disney that dropped Johnny gave him a second chance that changed his life. RDJ has offered the same for Johnny and it remains to be seen whether it happens. As a woman, it is really infuriating to see mainstream media dismissive of this case now that Johnny was the victor as celebrity drama, forgetting the humiliation he was ready to suffer to expose Amber as the abuser. The burden that a man carries of being wrongly accused of Sexual and physical abuse is so heavy and to have to wait six years to prove your innocence is nothing to be trivialized. When all is said and done, Amber admitted herself in court that she wrote the piece about him. That coupled with all the lies she told which made her not credible before the jury cost her the case. The truth never perishes. Or at least, she should have been a smarter liar
Disney didn't own Marvel when Iron Man was made, they bought it after they saw how much money could be made from RDJ. Don't give Disney a single speck of credit for giving anyone a "second chance", they've done more to destroy people than any other media company.
The biggest provable perjury that should be brought up in a criminal case is the copyright of the TMZ videos. If you film something you retain copyright until you give or sell the rights away to someone else. She testified under oath multiple times that she didnt know how TMZ has the videos. How can TMZ own the rights to her hidden videos?

It’s only a setback to those who partake in the “gender war”. Otherwise how is it a setback if a victim won their case against an abuser? Man or woman.
Ironically, Amber's own evidence and testimony is what handed the win to Johnny. Her audiotapes where she was heard admitting to hitting Johnny, and she was being extremely rude and disrespectful, unlike most victims. Her over-the-top stories of savage beatings that didn't match pictures of her untouched face the next day, and not a single medical intervention. The"bruise kit". This stuff wrecked her credibility. If she had toned down her stories, and not taped their conversations, she might well have won this case.
The issue is that she made a mess with overwhelming evidence against her and the guy barely managed to prove her a liar for something. She had to make every mistake in existence to lose otherwise the guy will be viewed as a monster simply because of her accusing him.
I’m not surprised. A narcissist will NEVER take responsibility for what they do. Their mind LITERALLY can’t process the fact that they are evil. In her twisted mind she’s actually the victim. So sad…
Bingo... that is narcissism to a tee... I have personally dealt with many. You can catch them red handed lying or stealing from you and they will still accuse YOU of being at fault. Though I will say... some are incapable of processing that they are evil/wrong. Some know better but do it anyways because it is effective at cowing people and they get into the habit of it. The best way to resolve a narcissist with to put them next to one and lock them in with each other. A hell made for them both by both!
Once you are called "abusive" "predatory" "violent" the damage is done..the suspicion will always be in the back of some ppls mind where it should NEVER have been in the 1st place
She said multiple times that the op Ed wasn't about Johnny, UNDER OATH... yet, at the end, she did say with her mouth that it was indeed about him!! The constant lying under oath... She should be punished for perjury, period.
Not to forget that this was just one of many proven lies she told under oath, she literally forged evidence that made it to the courtroom (the two same pictures with different colouration).. if she's getting away with that the whole justice system is a big joke
She should be punished for almost leaving johhny without a hand. But thats never going to happen. It got infected badly. And she Laughed about it? Punished? This woman is walking around free right now. Full gun rights. Full everything. And for the rest of Johnny Depp's life? He has to deal with people STILL accusing him of being not only the aggressor? But still being guilty of simply clearing his name and getting out the truth to the public. Once something like this happens? You never are the same. Its not like with women where everyone expects them to lie. A man's credibility is his only non refundable item. And an allegation of that is a one way trip to forever tarnishing a mans reputation.
The difference between Amber and Depp Amber: only acknowledges women who are victims of abuse Depp: Acknowledges both men and women who are victims of abuse
Err no... I think the difference is she is an abuser, while he was being abused. She lied about everything, but he was honest even about the things that reflected poorly on him. She is a despicable human being and he isn't. The list goes on, but I think you missed the entire point lol

She called her makeup kit a "bruise kit". In acting, a bruise kit is makeup used to create the appearance of a bruise/injury. I'm surprised nobody called her out on that.

Not really. Most men don’t have $10mm for lawyers to sue someone who falsely accuses them for defamation. It should be a mandatory 10 year sentence if a man can prove a woman knowingly lied and accused him of rape or DV.
The thing that disgusts me the most about this entire trial are the amount of people defending everything Amber said and did as her being an "imperfect victim," while demonizing everything Johnny said and did as proof of abuse and narcissism. DV is a go to strategy for divorce attorneys so the woman can kick the man out of the house and establish favorable parenting patterns to get more child support. The number of weak and/or totally false claims is ridiculous. In divorce you should disbelieve any such claim by default.

I think something that isn’t being talked about as much as it should, is how people are undermining the legal process so publicly with such disregard. To see Amber, her team and the general public talk about how the jury and the case were ‘rigged’ to favour Depp and that it’s a bad result is insulting to the law. This is dangerous to both men and women if you can just claim the court case was rigged to try and circumvent the consequences of falsely accusing people of the worst crimes know to man.

It took six years for one guy to get justice. So, no, men are not taken seriously, only Hollywood stars. this is all information from a feminist journalist.
It’s crazy to me how all my female friends all rooted and supported Johnny depp as amber was exposed for her lies and then there is the mainstream media trying to tell us that the jury was rigged or this a horrible day for women. I had my own Amber... constant gaslighting and even physical violence.. She would change the facts right after something happened. Drank on meds knowing it was detrimental to her mental health. At the end of it all she'd say that she didn't remember/had a blackout. She would apologize for being violent, and then get violent. The best part of all of this is she would call me stupid for caring about her, I would then walk away.. and she would come back with victim stories. What sucks for victims of such personalities, is dealing with the fact that you have feelings for them, despite the picture being painted. I was sucked back in numerous times, knowing full well that nothing was going to change. I enabled her and she definitely took full opportunity. What made me walk away for good was hearing "You are the reason why I do these things." She still tried her antics for about a month after, but I stood my ground and stuck to the "zero contact" rule. She proceeded to slander me to our mutual friends, only for me to find out that they think the worst of her as a result... Heartbreaking. To all those who are dealing with a situation like this... Keep strong, it is very hard to move on but it is better than endlessly suffering the same fights and arguments with someone you love, ending up in absolute resentment. An important thing I was told that stuck after all this was "People who love you, will not hurt you knowingly." It is simplistic to the bone.. but think about it twice if you have been in abusive relationships... Attachment needs to be separated from love, it is often the attachments we have to the person that keeps up coming back (memories, dynamic/chemistry, routine, etc). Much love.
Amber lying wasn't a set back, it was exposing how broken the system already was. Hopefully this will result in a shakeup and restructure of the legal system like men have been asking for tens of years now. I'm just glad it was all televised because now male DV survivors myself included finally had a voice, I didn't get justice in my cases of abuse but I'm glad at least one man did and what an impact it has had. I'll take that result over my own justice any day
I watched the trial almost everyday and it was clear as day that she was lying. She contradicted herself so many times, also her witness experts were people who looked like they came out of clown college. I truly believe she could’ve won if she had her stories right and was a better actress, but her narcissism betrayed her.
But she won on the UK trial years ago... There are evidence that were underlooked im both cases. Both were just messy no one is innocent... but this unfortunately wont help Johnny Depp return into his projects
Here's the issue, the only reason we know about this and he won was because of a million things he did right He had to have tons of video evidence, witness testimony, he needed to be extremely popular, he needed to be rich, he had to be calm for years, and he had to WAIT for years to even get a chance to defend himself. He needed a televised court case and needed heard to be caught in multiple lies. The planets had to aline for him. Now compare that to a regular dude who would rightfully so be extremely angry. He wouldn't win
Facts the best thing we can try to do as men is to pick up these manipulative and abusive tendencies early and leave at the first sight of it. If we wait until we are in court we are probably screwed.
The system has been stacked in favor of woman for decades if not hundreds of years. Only now (with overwhelming evidence) men can actually get the truth told. Man accused women of wrong doing .... Cops: do you have any proof or witnesses? Ohh you do...your still getting arrested. Woman accuses a man of wrong doing.... Cops: do you have any proof or witnesses? Ohh you don't...we will still arrest thw man...because woman always tell the truth. Thats been the narrative for so long.... Finally/ hopefully its changing.
I was almost too deeply involved in this trial 🤣🤣 and I couldn't be happier with the verdict!!! I hope that this is a call for men to start actively reporting this shit because she ain't the only psycho outchere!! It's great to finally see a smidgen of justice being served!
As a woman and a victim of domestic boo boos, I am disgusted by her blatant lying and continued denial of what she did. Johnny tried soo hard to continue to put up with her bullshit. And now when it's out in the open, he just wants to get his reputation back. When your abuser tries to defame you to make themselves look more likeable, it's evil, no matter what gender
I also was in a violent relationship. When you are afraid of someone you don’t follow them from room to room taunting them to get a reaction - because you’ll get one. Her story never rang true for the average woman who truly had an abusive partner.
Something asmongold said actually made a lot of sense about this. The media keeps trying to defend amber heard and the public have actively ignored them. People chose to watch and make their own opinions and with what they saw a lot of people recognized Amber as a lier. This is why imo it's not a political thing this is just people have recognized her as a abuser.
@@Poufkimashoula1 they have been trying to make it political. But I’ve noticed people from both sides of the aisle saw through her lies. The media loves to polarize everything but they lost this battle.

But it is, this trial proved that despite the many evidences in support of Amber, the judicial system and public still sided with Johnny. This further proves the glaring institutional misogyny of our society.
The most frustrating thing about all of this is that nearly ALL of the mainstream media coverage of this case has made her out to be the victim. A simple search of the trial reveals tons of articles about how the 'internet' is wrong and that this is a travesty against all women. Makes me sick.
There are some weirdos that are still advocating for her (honestly, its gotten so bad that some people are cutting themselves on her behalf, seriously) but on most social media i follow there has been much support for depp instead of amber. Could be my feed but i just think it’s interesting..

What speaks to me most about this case is how Amber represents every crazy batch in America; only she had much more resources than the average woman to spread her craziness around. I don't truly believe this harms women, domestic violence victims, or the metoo movement. This case blatantly shows how a woman can act with malice and the extent a woman will go. Don't think of me as sexist. The reality is there are plenty of women that lie from attaining an advantage in life (money or influence,) to just being malicious for the sake of annihilating someone's life and livelihood. The sooner the society realizes this and search for justice for the sake of justice, the sooner we can truly solve the problem.
My bf has a friend who had an exgf who would start fights and demean him time and time again, she even hit her self and stuff and called the police on him and said he did it. Luckily the police didn't believe her bc he was very calm and she was in hysterics just like how amber acted. Shit like this happens all the time and im glad justice was served.
I don't even think her attorneys put up a "bad defense" necessarily... they seemingly did the best with what they had to work with... Amber Heard is simply Indefensible.
No they weren’t good at defense attorneys and they were very unorganized. But I also agree with the fact that Amber is indefensible because there wasn’t much to work with. Good example was OJ Simpson case obviously guilty but good lawyers get you out of this. Her case was less worse than his and her lawyers still couldn’t manage to not clown themselves. Especially Elaine she’s something else 😅😅
The fact that she won (although a very small portion) of her ridiculous counterclaim, says her attorneys did at least a decent job at defending her... I'm astounded that she won even that! She should've got NOTHING.
Had my fingers crossed the entire trial hoping Johnny would win. Didn’t believe her for a second, but we all know how society can be when a man is the victim 🙄. Now hopefully she’ll lose future jobs bcuz of this like she caused for him. It was upsetting to see damn near every company banish Johnny, but kudos to the ones that stood by him through all of this. Edit: Also hope the UK follows through with charging Amber Turd with perjury.
Even the "verbal abuse" was most likely reactionary. I think anyone, after arguing all the time, would start responding. Let's not forget she was the aggressor of both verbal and physical fights, he was THE victim. He would even run from her and couldn't get away. She would follow him to continue the abuse. She was tormenting him. Also, the texts were not sent directly to her so how could they be abuse, not to mention 1 of them was not his. It literally said incoming, which is why her team never showed it again, only mentioned it verbally.
Absolutely. People think it's smart to be neutral and compromise by saying they were both abusive, but there's no evidence of abuse from his side. There are some relationships where both parties are abusive, but that's not the same as a reaction to abuse. No one could prove he ever hurt her or started fights.
The way she looked at the jury every time she answered was part of her downfall. One of the anonymous jurors said that they had to put their head down to listen to what she was saying because every time she answered made it uncomfortable for them
The way she’s acting you wouldn’t think there’s audio of her gaslighting Johnny, photos of Johnny’s bloody finger, the cops saying she had no visible injuries, and the multiple other loopholes in her story that allude to her obvious lies. She’s deluded🤦🏾♂️.
Not only that, every date she listed that Johnny abused her, there were photos taken of her literally the next day with not a single scratch on her face or body.
She can’t even say “We won in the UK” because she was a witness, not a party. The sun won and their win doesn’t prove that Johnny did any of what she claimed. It just proves that they believed what they were reporting and didn’t act with “actual malice”. There’s a lot about the UK that was kind of shitty. He had the evidence. He brought it forward in the US where he was able to. Her evidence was NOT good at all and there weren’t “mountains”. As a survivor of SA, I’m happy with the verdict and I don’t at all see it as a “setback for women”. Amber Heard, herself, is the setback.
Those cases are pretty much impossible to win ( prove defamation vs a tabloid or a magazine ). Statistics speak for themselves. It doesn't matter what they say about you because proving defamation vs such organizations has only been done maybe once in the entire history of judicial system.
Exactly. Yours is a better explanation than the one I attempted. Much better. The UK case was a horror show. Corrupt and biased on top of everything else. That judge should have recused himself. Also, one huge difference between the US and UK case is the UK one did not allow cross examinations or dispute the credibility of any witnesses. The man went against the The Sun with a hand tied behind his back.
Every human being, alive on this Earth regardless of gender, gender expression, and ideological identities, will have their day. Everyone will be held accountable
Her legal team can't possibly be this incompetent. Most likely they advised her to come clean about everything that's not immediately relevant to the defamation case, but she refused because of the bad PR. So they were forced to build their case entirely on top of every lie, like a foundation of sand.
they had crumbs of lies to work with , the best they could do was try to piss and frustrate Johnny Depp off so he would react and reinforce the bull that he was a violent alcoholic, that was their only play and they failed .
As an actual victim of abuse, I'm disgusted by Amber Turd and her fake testimony and lies. I hope this whole situation opens more doors and conversations around men's mental health and abuse, r*pe, sa, etc. Women aren't the only ones who suffer
Honestly, as a male Victim of Parents as well as bad relationships. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you wonderful ladies standing up for Johnny, and holding Amber accountable. It touches my heart and brings back my hope in humanity to see care and compassion able to surpass the gender walls. Thank you, sincerely.
'Almost 24% of all relationships had some violence, and half (49.7%) of those were reciprocally violent. In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases.' Study called 'Differences in Frequency of Violence and Reported Injury Between Relationships With Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence'
From a guy who promised to never look his ex wife in the eyes and stuck to that years later, I don't think he'll come back to POC. But he will definitely be getting called for new movies
Amber is like one of those people who see everyone comforting an abused person, and giving attention to that abused person. Gets jealous than says "me too guys, my trauma is more recent than hers, give me the attention and comfort instead of that abused person!"
As a lawyer myself, i don't really think Amber Heard's team was incompetent. If she has told her team as many lies as she has told everybody, they could not do better. A lawyer can only be efficient when he knowns all the truth.
I was thinking in a similar way. She had little to no truth in her stories for the lawyers to use to make her come out as a good person, there was hard evidence against her, and johnny had testimonies to back up the evidence as well. There was little to no way any lawyer could win this case.
Yes very true she made it hard for them. She swears under oath about one thing then goes ahead and testifies that what she said was a lie. This made it hard for her lawyers to defend her. I'm also very sure she told them these lies coz even after the case verdict she still sees herself a victim. She is a weird kind and an abuser, she still believes that GBV is only against women 🤦♀️.
It shows a lot that Deppe wanted this trial televised for all to see. It shows the all the toxicity of their relationship, but also showed that he didn’t have anything to hide.
Amber’s lawyer: “me asking if you want 15 min of fame is not argumentative!” Also Amber’s lawyer: “you cant ask me if i want 15 min if fame because that is argumentative”
As someone who's a dv survivor and help other women when I celebrated when I heard that JD won. This trial was triggering, the lies, the gaslighting.... we need to believe victims not people who pretend to be the victims and clearly are the aggressors.
Why help only other women when studies show us that half of DV cases are reciprocal, and in nonreciprocal cases women make up 70% of the perpetrators. Study called 'Differences in Frequency of Violence and Reported Injury Between Relationships with Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence'
and how do we know they are victims? By paying attention to the evidence not judging immediately based off of sex, gender or other surface level things.
@Kush Hazard a-fuckin-men brother 💯💪 people literally can't comprehend how much mental abuse actually fucks with us especially men who are taught to just sit there take it and be glad they have that person (who's abusing them mind u) or they'd have no one at all (something my own ex told me)
@@MusMasi Where I live evidence is king, it doesn't matter if the person uses a motto or # or whatever. One can't go around saying that they were assaulted the way she did. Dv is a serious crime doesn't matter the gender, if a woman is the perpetrador she's going to jail and vice-versa.
I'm failing to see how this a setback for VICTIMS really, because the way I look at it is there's been plentiful false accusations against men when it came to SA or DV. Now that a person who has publicly loss a case where she defamed and falsely accused a man of DV that's when it gets harder for victims to speak up? I believe the only way it gets harder for victims is when someone lies about it and gets exposed not when someone who was falsely accused wins a defamation case.
You are missing the point, the trail and the results are not at all a setback for victims, the setback for victims comes in to play with how amber heard is already manipulating the media with the patriarchy bullshit and people believe her. Also this just being played off as a celebrity drama and not giving amber the punishments she deserves are the reasons why they are failing actual victims
The part that baffles me is that I think Amber actually believes she's a victim. Like she's lied so much that she's warped her entire sense of reality. It's crazy to me how we have this capacity to straight up ignore facts if it'll allow us to retain our perception and ego. The worst villains are the ones who think they're heroes.
That often happens to pathological liars. The lose sight of reality. It's scary but also sad. I have an Uncle just like that and it really is a mindfuck to witness.
Dude literally did everything anyone could do to prove he didn't abuse anyone and people are still saying he's and abuser. How can anyone possibly do more to prove they're innocent?
The "mountain" of evidence. HIS cut off finger. HER recording daring him to tell anyone he's abused. HER recording where she admits she hits him. Her mysterious ONE DAY bruises (I've been bruised so long I thought I had AIDS) I'm still missing the mountain of evidence.
Amber is just crazy. Im surprised she got off with less than she did for publicly ruining a mans career. Using Freedom of Speech as a defensive to make an actor jobless should be considered a meme at this point. Freedom of Speech is great with being able to say ALMOST anything you want but you cant accuse people of things they did not do. Everything has limits and Amber found one of them.
Freedom of speech is one of the highest values, but ONLY if what you speak is truth or at least your own truth, Amber knows sure as hell she is a lying bag of c**t and still speaks, that's the problem
because both of them were abusive to each other. The only difference,is that depp never assaulted her physically but both were toxic af towards each other.
@@dice581 No, that’s not why. She still has people believing that he hit her, and now, r@ped her with a bottle. That being said, I truly believe not a single person on the planet started off either on Johnny’s side or neutral, watched the trial, and then switched over to Amber’s side. Everyone who still supports Amber were people who supported her from the beginning and were never going to be convinced otherwise. She could come out tomorrow and say she lied about the bottle and they would still come out making excuses for her. They’ll say she’s only saying it because she’s scared. Or even say she only lied because she was afraid that they wouldn’t believe her about the stuff that really did happen. Amber claims that Johnny has power over people, but most of us would have sided against him if the evidence pointed the other way. It’s Amber who has a cult-like power over her followers. It’s sad.
I was accused of saying that I would SA someone, it was in jr high, like late 2008 or 9. Was called into the principal’s office, heard the classmate accuse me for the first time, and then they asked my side of the story. I had no idea what she was talking about, only thing that happened was they put the most space between her and I in the 1 class we shared. I can’t imagine how scarred I’d be if it happened now, doesn’t matter if I was considered a nice guy, people would remember that 1 thing about me
I was hoping they were gonna say the real problem: to win his case Depp needed like 100 million dollars and NO obligations. It shouldn’t sacrifice your whole financial life & social life to win a case
when they were reading the verdict there were about 2 million people livestreaming it live on law and crime alone! taking those numbers along with youtube livestreamers, twitch numbers, news stations livestreaming, adds up to an insane amount that i can't even imagine. This trial will go down in history.
I know! I think it approached 2.5 million at one point. I actually told my husband I don’t think I had ever seen a live stream with that number of viewers!
On Preach's point, the Lead Attorney said on his Livestream when the verdict came out, "Johnny got his reputation back, even though he didn't get as much money as he wanted, the important thing is that he got his reputation back and he can be casted in movies again with no backlash." On the other hand, people started a petition to remove Amber from Aquaman 2.
Robert Downey Jr. has already said he would like Johnny Depp to be in the next Sherlock Holmes movie... there are plenty of other actors that would like to help Johnny Depp re-establish his acting career in Hollywood. Jason Mamoa is another, most likely...he has not stated anything but has spoken a little bit on the case and against Amber Turds claims. Hollywood also loves bad press as much as good press. Johnny Depp will be back whether people like it or not. Prepare for the inevitable.
I think he'll be back near the top within a few years. He's been around for decades, is a quality actor, and legitimately had a good reputation before shits-in-the-bed ruined it for the past several years. We all know johnny was a victim and now survivor of this subhuman.
Momoa liked Amber's statement on Instagram. Fact is Momoa is another out of touch Hollywood egotist. He pretty much plays the same bland macho tough caricature in every acting role he's in, but because he tows the line he gets a lot of gigs.
I hope so, but tbh the recent leftist coverage makes me wary. It’s like feminist movement are at him again. They kinda have this bubble where Heard remains the victim and Depp remains the abuser and a dangerous drunkard. That’s just a very vocal minority for sure, but l hope so much that the tide doesn’t turn against him yet again.
While i want to support any person who comes out as a victim of abuse, i never really understood the "believe all women" mantra. Like, how young/delusional/inexperienced (or manipulative) you have to be to know that gender isn't a personality and that there are good and bad people of all genders? It is always good to keep an open mind and try to be objective. You *can* give support to one side without lynching the other side that wasn't proven guilty. Anw, i hope Johnny gets some peace after this and establish his career again. Also i hope that we start looking at each case individually and not compare it to other cases just to jump on any bandwagon.
Most people are not very intelligent, if you didn't notice. They like blanket statements like these because they are less mentally demanding. It's a lot less taxing to just follow a simple, predetermined rule, rather than form a truly original and informed opinion, let alone on MULTIPLE ISSUES. Christ, could you imagine? 🙄
Also, "believe all victims" like people are assuming they know who the victim is. Michael Jackson was innocent, fought in the trial & was cleared of all charges. If the trial was televised in the courtroom it would of been easier for the public to see the truth.
Thank u! The feminist on twitter use this mantra a lot. Women can be abusers not only towards men but towards children as well. People who use that mantra also know the power women have and how easily the public will believe them when they lie
I once saw a meme years ago, of a tweet from a twitter feminist saying "You should never need proof to believe a victim, no matter the circumstances". Next to that tweet was a picture of Atticus Finch and Tom Robinson from To Kill A Mockingbird. Anyone who read that story knows why that picture applies. It's been years but that meme is still burned into my memory for this very reason.
@@jah4708 It’s okay I’ll tell you. Basically in the book Tom Robinson is a black man who is being falsely accused of sexual assault or rape on a white woman. Atticus finch is his lawyer who defends him in court and in the end Tom Robinson is seen as guilty when he didn’t do it mainly because everyone believes the white woman over the black man at that time. There is a movie if you’d like to watch as well :D
@@jah4708 In the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, the character Tom Robinson is on trial for supposedly beating and r-wording a local woman, Mayella Ewell. I honestly can't give too much away without getting into spoilers. You can find the book at any bookstore or library but I would honestly recommend watching the movie instead. It cuts out all the filler chapters and is a much easier watch.
