My heart cry for this poor little cub left alone and being played by teenagers. He is so tired and needed care , he was even dozing off but no mom for him 😢
My heart weeps for the precious beautiful angel baby so innocent, vulnerable, helpless, and defenceless against two bullies. And even though (constantly hearing its nature) it sickens me that amber eyes doesn't protect her baby. 😡💔😭
So tiny but still fought back but to little and the were horrible to him because he was all alone weak,he had no chance to survive as his mother wasn’t there,he’s dead but what a brave baby😢

It broke my heart to see this tiny little baby being abused and his mom not care...I wish I could have picked him up and brought him home....my male cats have more motherly instinct than his mother....😢😢super painful to watch...
Very hard life for wild animals, but I guess it’s something inbuilt for survival. Eat or be eaten sort of scenario. As far as I’m aware the cub didn’t survive 😔

Hi Lydia, yes I also think it’s wise to see life as it happens, having to hunt daily for food to survive must be so difficult for them and also having to endure the possibility of being hunted by humans 😡 we need to protect all our wildlife before it’s too late. I hope the current situation has made a lot of people sit up and think what we are doing to this planet and change things for the better and for future generations to enjoy 👍🏻🙏🏻
The look on this little one at 24:16, so helpless, just breaks my heart! When is his mom to protect him/her? She is around and in the pride but why not protecting her little child? She already gave her/him up? Do you have a follow-up video to this one about this little cubbie?
Hello, from what I recollect the cub wasn’t seen after this so I guess it’s possible it may have been abandoned or more likely killed. The lion world can be very strange at times but mostly males tend to kill Cubs (especially males) so they don’t become dominant in the years to come. They certainly like to protect their territory. I’m also not convinced this cub was part of this pride, it may have been abandoned or orphaned.
Females often carry cubs even when not their own, it’s their only way of moving them. I’ll rewatch the video to see if the female carrying the cub was amber eyes or not but I suspect not. From what I recollect this cub was not seen again after this sighting
This little cub happens to be the lioness' only new litter while her sister's litter is still with her--consisting six of them, equivalent to teenagers in human term--and are constantly badgering this little cup. This little one better hope that these big teenager cousins are not well-fed because if they're well-fed they will have lots of energy badgering this little one.
I think the problem is that that little cub cannot move his hind legs, he is not able to run and jump like he should be able to do at his age. He looks hurt in that back. The lioness (mother) and the other lions in the pride realize his problem. If you look halfway through the video, the young lions don't attack him, but rather they touch him on the back to encourage him to move, to walk, to run, but he cannot. I think that is the serious problem of that cub, because if he is not able to walk and run he has no chance of surviving, and the other lions know it: they are trying to help him (they do not harm him), but he can hardly get up or stay standing. In this video that cub hardly walks at all, and every time he tries to get up and walk his hind legs fail him. Everyone else notices and tries to encourage him to get up and walk, but he can't. That's why the lioness looks at the camera sadly, because she is aware of that cub's problem. He won't be able to survive without walking, running and jumping. They will have to abandon him to his fate.
Stupid film makers do something to rescue that little cub. Don't only sit in your vehicle and make fun of animals behaviour. You see the little one don't has it's mother sith it. Please do something to rescue and protect those animals.
What video did you watch? That poor cub was being brutally abused by the teenage cubs. Ranger said in comments he dies not long after this. His mom was the worst mom ever !!!
@Rabo1uk, it is good if you don't remove the sound. :) This cub was probably less than one month old. It's so amazing this little cub was fearless. It dared to "play" with teenage lions and tried to fight back. Eg. look at 2:57-2:58

The cub was sitting alot so I thought the other lions were trying to get it to walk. Especially when they left it in the road and it was crying, I truly thought it was their way to get the cub to walk.
Pinky eyes was not a good mom ! She was just watching from a distance to see her little vulnerable cub being badly bullied by the teenagers ! I was so emotional, my heart was crying for the poor little baby. 😢😢😢😢 ms. Wong
I thought, when the Mom picked him up by the mouth to move him to the thicket bushes, that he would be placed away from the older lions, and be protected. But they all kept moving, and what looked like the Mom, just walked away and left him by himself. Then the others moved, stop, then move, and in the moving, the baby cub got entangled again with the older cubs, who started bullying again.
Raybo1uk No Ray, it didn't. I love Amber Eyes, but she kind of left this baby to the devices of the young members of the pride way too early. She lost her last 3 to hyenas. So maybe should have brought them into the pride. With 3 of them, may have survived under the protection of these same sub adults now. They are older, and may have been more nurturing than playful. Not to be though. I just hope we see her successful with cubs before her time is over.
Raybo1uk These older cubs were phenominal with the little girl who was killed by the Avocas. This poor baby in this video just brings me to tears to watch. They are just playing, but it couldn't have withstood this constant harassment. Heartbreaking.
That little kid is having a tantrum and they are ignoring him! The young cousin I guess was teasing him! Little kids are either overtired or burning up energy!

Solo jugar quieren con el sus hermanos adolescentes, y mas bien el es quien esta de rebelde que no se deja tocar ni que lo carguen y les lanza manotazos y cuando lo tocan le hacen suave. Vi otros videos que le dieron seguimiento y allí se ve que sobrevivió a los maltratos y que al final no lo mataron lo dejaron solo y se veía cansado y con sueñito.
These are 100% wild animals... No human intervention unless caused by humans. Cub survival rates very low, there's probably quite a few of these cubs who didn't survive. It's very hard to witness at times... But that's the life of a wild lion.
Amber eyes is the worst lion mom I have ever seen. In the video of 2016, she walked away from her tiny cub and watched from a distance when the junior lions over played her cub. I doubt if that cub could make it. In the video of 2018, Amber eyes had another cub around 3 to 4 months old, abnormally thin. When the cub cried and begged for milk, Amber eyes refused to suckle the cub and walked away. The poor cub was forced to resort to meat in that early age. Now, this video is of 2017, again, she left her cub alone in face of the immature junior lions.
i guess its just Lion life in general really, but just as in human behaviour some are more dedicated to their children than others. There are of course many cubs lost to Male Lions who see them as a threat but this little cub seemed to be a bit of an "outsider" to me and yes, as far as i am aware, i dont think it survived.
It's so sad to watch that innocent baby crying for love and help, and that useless mother!!!! Rotten,. I just want to help that baby, seeing it cry out to anyone, yet no one comes:'(
They keep paying the cub to try and make it stand up and walk. If they wanted to harm it they would have done so by now. They wanted to encourage it to stand up and walk.
Im sure that was its mum first cub they think and she was 4 years old ,the Safari live team didn't think she could have cubs , she'd never been known to have any . It shows.
Guides do not get involved with the animals unless the issue is created by humans. It’s all part of animal life sadly. Many cubs are killed by other lions especially males to try to reduce the competition.
Obviously this was like a new toy to the other bigger cubs I dont know how it passed but it was far to young to be intriduced to the other members of the pride for sure .
So many used to complain about the commentary on these clips sadly so in this video I removed it. I probably still have the original before it was edited but would need to locate the master file.
Hello Gina, no Amber Eyes has has a number of cubs and just recently has another but I’m not sure it’s hers.This particular one im not certain what happened to it but it disappeared not long after this video, i don't recall seeing it so perhaps it was killed by a Male, i guess we will never know for certain.
This cub appeared from nowhere, i dont think anyone was 100% sure where it came from or who it belonged to but it is seen in the video with "Amber Eyes" the lioness. As far as i am aware it did disappear soon afterwards so was probably killed by either one of the males or perhaps another female. Maybe it was looking for adoption, we will never know for certain.
Yes if the cubs mother was there she would chase these young lads of but she didnt so she wasnt a good mother was it rejected nobody wants it who will fead it needs milk to survive.
Silverstackergrandmarose Rose They are too young to know they are harming him. They are only 6 months or so older than him, but they grow so quickly it makes a significant difference. They are playful, and he is so tiny, he is like a ball they can roll around amongst them. His mother has to hunt to be able to produce milk, so she cant be with him all the time. Its like leaving a newborn with a group of 2 year old children. You can imagine them trying to pick him up, getting bored and just dropping him as their attention moves to something else. They mean no harm, just are too young to know better. Its a cruel reality of lion life. His mother didnt cycle at the same time as a couple other females in the pride. He was the only survivor of his litter. Very hard to keep him alive under those circumstances. A different female had cubs a few months later, one lived to six months before being killed by male lions that were not this pride's cubs fathers. But these same older cubs were the best big sisters and brother to her. They loved her and watched over her. They just weren't strong enough to protect her from 3 big males. This poor little one was born at the wrong time.😥
Usually when a Cub is lame or Sick I bet this Cub is a Cuz or Niece or nephew 💙 because if This Cub came from another pride The elder female would kill it
El del video,porque no lo rescata,y lo proteje,o se lo deja a la Madre naturaleza ,eso le pasa a mucho animalitos y lo miran como un enemigo peligroso..asi son los leones,
