I pray to god they made a proshot with the original cast! Living in Europe that's the only chance I'd get to see Hadestown :,) this video just brought tears to my eyes... Thank you for posting it
@@bwaySHO I don't want to raise anyone's hopes, especially since I don't have a source for this, but I remember reading somewhere that a proshot was made, I believe Rachel Chavkin said at the cast reunion?
That was my immediate thought when I heard that Amber Gray was leaving. Surely, someone, somewhere made or is making a proshot happen. I cannot accept that they are or have not.
Well dear evan hansen is leaving in October in the west end and hadestowns theatre in Broadway is pretty small and so is dear evan hansens theatre maybe hadestown will move go in there it fits the size and the stage is very spacious
So emotional. It is always just so sad to see an artist who's poured so much into a role like this leave its legacy behind. This shoes send off is so beautiful, and I'm so happy for Amber that she got to have that on stage. That last goodnight punched Mr right in the gut 💚
You become like a family when you do a show for so long. And Amber and how long she’s been with Hadestown? My goodness! I couldn’t keep it together either with those last lyrics. Bravo!!
Amber's been there even before the show was on Broadway. She practically reinvented Persephone. What a legend.💚 Seeing her onstage must have been fantastic!) Thank you so much for this! Hopefully, they made a proshot!..))
Thank you for sharing this! I’m literally crying my eyes out! Grateful to have seen her perform back in September she will be terribly missed in the show!
Saw the show this January and despite the fact that the entire production was a marvel of theatrical achievement with exquisite talent oozing out of every fiber of the show, Amber Gray stood out as a scene stealing performer in every moment she was on stage, particularly, of course, during her own song and dance numbers. Extraordinary artist who definitely contributed heavily to making this show the triumph that it is. Thank you Amber Gray, I hope I get to experience your artistry again some day!
God I wish I could have seen the show with her in it, I’m coming to see it next month and just hoping and praying that Eva, Reeve, Patrick and Andre are all still there! 🙏 UPDATE: they were, it was utterly incredible, I wept and then wept some more! And then I got another ticket to see it again the next morning! 🥰
