If the jury assumed ‘see’ as in a patient being seen by the nurse, then they might think she needed mental help during the incident and implying that the help required was so severe at the time requiring a medical staff person to intervene. I'm curious to know the time line of the pictures taken. Was it done in a short period of time? Or were they taken over a long period of time. To me it feels like she was setting the stage for a divorce, once they were married. And by taking photos of JD in his situation, tells you how calculating she is. It’s a tactic used by abusers to “convince” others by looking at them, showing them they are “confident” with their statements. But when you see her being confronted she doesn’t look at them.

Long story short, was staying with ex brother in law at my house when mother was dying. He’d drink a bottle or two of wine every night, and on three occasions passed out, spilling wine on me, my leather couch and the carpet. I wasn’t thrilled..but gently took the glass out of his hand, roused him, guided him off to bed, and cleaned up the spillage. Contrary to Amber’s beliefs, that’s what people do when they care about someone, even when their habits are deeply concerning.

Amber should have never been allowed to reproduce. She will pass these narcissistic (& worse) traits on to her children unless they're fortunate enough to have exceptional nannies who model healthy loving behavior. Most people with NPD and/or BPD never get treatment, much less cured. They are incapable of empathy and unable to admit mistakes & wrongdoings. It's so very sad, an endless cycle of abuse that's hard to break.

I think her lawyer told her to do that. It's a commonly used tactic to establish a personal relationship but she can't pull it off because she's ingenuous and guilty and it shines through.

I honestly think she's under the influence - the exaggerated facial expressions - she literally can't feel her face.

@@splotbang8296 she also does it too frequently, and does it when she is saying negatives such as, "Incorrect", "No", which can come off as aggressive when she is facing them - bad idea. Then after the negative responses, she begins looking at the jury directly and spinning new versions of her own words we just heard in a tape and/or previous court document. She looks at them and tells them that they did not just hear what they heard. And smiles. She lives in her own narcissistic world.
