It's absolutely terrifying that this woman has custody of an infant. What a horrible person.

In a weird way I believe she actually tried her hardest to get him to actually hit her. And when she realised after all this it wasn’t going to happen. She made it up.

If a woman testified that she would have to lock herself in 9 bathrooms and bedrooms while her husband angrily slammed on the door, and often hit her, he'd be in jail. Just for the record.

The fact that she kept asking why she wasn't in his will says enough about her true intentions

You can see in her eyes how furious she is that Johnny is finally getting to speak his truth, and that she has to remain silent and let everyone see the monster she is.

The way he smiles and chuckles while explaining is a defense mechanism. I do it to down play how much traumatic situations affected me. He can't help it. Justice for Mr. Depp!!!!

What's scary is how many women actually support Heard despite what's happened. Crime is not limited to gender. Anyone can be abusive to anyone.

This man's pain resonates with me. His wife argues like the Mother of my kid. I've been where he is, sitting across a court room trying desperately to convince everyone around me of the evil I'm facing, and feel like no one is listening. This man better get justice, he deserves it above all else.

This man literally has endless amounts of evidence that this woman was the aggressor. All she has is a set of badly taken photos with makeup on where her bruises seemed to dissappear the next day. She's a terrible human.

As a woman, I just want to say to all the good-hearted guys, don't you ever put up with this kind of thing. If a woman loves you, she would never want to hurt you or make you feel bad, or make you feel guilty for just living your normal life and enjoying your hobbies and friends. She will lift you up, and encourage you. If you are in a relationship that makes you feel bad about yourself, or you find yourself withdrawing from family and friends, or losing interest in things you loved, run the fk away right now. You deserve better, and you can definitely find a good partner who will love you with kindness and understanding. Don't ever stay with someone who makes you feel isolated like this because you're scared you can't find someone else or of being alone. You are stronger than you think, so don't give up on finding someone who understands how love is supposed to be.

Subtle detail; At 14:03 you can hear him correct himself from “hiding” in the bathroom to “the room I locked myself in” After the audio tapes of her saying he runs and hides and he’s a coward, etc. That shows how much she really broke his confidence. She really manipulated his entire way of thinking.

She injured him so grotesquely the jury had to be warned before being shown the picture of the finger. After severing part of his finger she put a cigarette out on his face. Sounds more like an attempted murder trail than a lawsuit. Real evil in that woman

my understanding of amber heard: 1. She wanted to be famous 2. Johnny depp was a great career move and a very good financial move 3. She wanted to be entitled to Depps money 4. When she learned about the legal process taking place that would keep their financials separate she was furious 5. She freaked out on Johnny to undo this because she's use to getting her way 6. She assaults Johnny, and quickly realized that she really screwed up, and how do you get out of assaulting someone? 7. She accused Johnny of being an abuser 8. She used this accusation to get further ahead in her career

I think it's possible based on the audio recordings that she INSTIGATED these fights hoping he would strike her but there is no proof officially that he did. Had he really struck her she could have got him put away but there wasn't hard proof he did so hes left with telling his truth and shes left with staring at this camera looking as if she wants to wring his neck for exposing her.

One thing I've noticed out of this whole trial is while Johnny is testifying, you can not only see that he's being as truthful as his memory can serve him, but also recalling these memories are truly upsetting to him. You can easily tell those memories are traumatic. Meanwhile, Amber is over there being an actress smh. I really hope this Jury has their heads straight.

To everyone commenting about his responses being slow. Being a man in this political climate on a case like this he has to choose his words very carefully or every vulture on the internet AND in the jury will tear him apart. He has the proof, this was way more drawn out than it needed to be.

I just can‘t stop watching her face throughout all this. It‘s highly entertaining to be honest. The amount of effort she puts into trying to look sad and vulnerable just makes her look like she about to throw up. Wow, I'm a woman, and I don't condone violence on any side of a relationship, but she is such a bad actress that doesn't even know how to fake it. Narcissist's never admit they are wrong, and she never will. Johnny grew up with an abusive mother, as I did, and this causes CPTSD, which also allows us to stay in abusive relationships, because it feels so familiar... It is what we grew up with, and we sadly feel like we should stay to try and work things out. There is no doing better with a gaslighting narcissist by your side. It takes years to recover, because we also feel so guilty that "we didn't try harder"... Because that is how our caretakers used to make us feel. It is dysfunctionally familiar and also a vicious downward spiral. As a woman, it was very difficult for me because narcissists are very good actors (can't imagine the trained ones)... So they make you seem crazy in front of people and they are always the victim, and they are counting on your love for them to not tell on them! I can only imagine how he felt as a man. To be perceived as a "weak" man, in the eyes of others in a chauvinistic society, and also to feel like he had "betrayed" her! I met Mr. Depp, he is honest as the day is long. Yes, he had drug issues but he was not a party animal at all. Very much an introvert. Great nice guy. Very shy.

7 months after the verdict I am just now listening to Johnny tell the story of Australia because everytime I have tried it has been too much. It is heartbreaking to listen to. I have always believed him even though I could not tell you why. How could she hurt this man?
