@cassl14 how was she on her way to A list stardom? she isn't a talented actor and never been nominated for any prestigious acting award so far. marrying someone A lister doesn't automatically make u an A lister. she mostly unknown for indie films and aquaman isn't gonna win any oscars. and she isn't exceptionally beautiful to get noticed. she never became mega famous. She doesn't have the talent or on screen charisma to become an A lister even marrying johnny didn't boost her career

People that are full of themselves do this...and they even develop permanent facial "tics" over time. The actress Holly Hunter did this...she was so normal when she started in films and she was great, but warped into a side mouth talk and kind of a swish in the side pocket of her mouth when she spoke her words. Bill cosby was another one that developed stupid faces, his pudding face and other affectations that just didn't look good. Go look at Amber sometime when she is standing in front of cameras taking pictures of her, there are some of her with JD and she primps and holds her head up like she's "all that and more" I can find nothing redeeming about her...certainly not her acting. She does have a pretty face, but once you have seen into her soul, she becomes repulsive. Even Johnny fell out of love with her!
I agree. Whenever I have seen her in interviews she always comes across so disingenuous Its almost like she is putting on a character or an act and trying to say all the right things to make herself appear like she is a cool, smart and interesting person. But, it comes across as sooo fake.

She got a restraining order, settlement and also a statement saying she didn't lie and exposed plenty of proof during divorce while his friends were dragging Amber through mud. Both signed confidentiality but now that everyone's believing her and he is losing money, he is blaming her in magazine interviews without any proof while Amber still respects their agreement. The whole World could see he is a manipulative mess in so many ways and Amber was a victim.

Many actors are shy in reality, such as : Nicole Kidman, Joacquin Phoenix, Paul Dano, Daniel Day Lewis, Sophia Loren!!!! And many others, I just named a few. Amber is a B list actress. The ones I named are A list and beyond that. Real actors do interviews to promote the projects they are involved in ,not themselves. It is not science, you get used to it eventually.
