I think it ultimately did more harm than good for her considering it was likely making them very uncomfortable and a clear attempt to manipulate them. I say more power to her. Well to be fair, the lawyer asked a lot of loaded questions that were a "gotcha" question. Like the question about "you called him a monster because he needed space?" and said she "no, for what he became after a drug binge" and then the lawyer says "just yes or not, you called him a monster for needing space, isn't that right?" (loaded question) and then she says "incorrect" and then she repeats the same question as if it's a statement. This is a trick lawyers often use, they throw loaded questions at you that don't have a simple answer, and if you try to explain context to them, they yell at you to "give a simple answer" but not everything in life is simple or possible to answer in a yes or no manner.
