I cancelled my subscription to The Washington Post today because of this portion of the trial. This kind of shameful cronyism between the team from the ACLU and the WP did a great disservice to a cause that is important. Clearly Amber Heard should never have been considered a spokesman for gender-based domestic violence! They actively worked to skirt an agreement that was put in place for a reason. None of these fools ever apparently considered that the reason might be that Amber Heard was not a victim. In fact it looks entirely like it is the other way around. Men are silent victims of domestic violence too.

This is the proverbial 'smoking-gun.' It's a win for Johnny.

I used to work in a Psych Hospital, working with patients that had Borderline Personality Disorder, this trial has shed a light on how manipulative, calculating, and selfish some can be (if they’re not in serious helpful therapy). It’s sad that she’s struggling with this, she needs help. HOWEVER, it doesn’t excuse her actions so much as make it crystal clear that she was lying the whole time. Just re-watch the testimony from the Psychologist that diagnosed her. People struggling with this disorder like to be the center of attention, so writing the op-ed ticks off the boxes of wants: she gets to have spotlight while also lashing out at Depp since, in her eyes, he abandoned her. Per the Psychologist testimony, abandonment is the WORST fear that they have, so when they perceive that it’s been done to them, the freak. They’re good at lying to themselves and others. She probably believes every word of the op-ed she wrote, or contributed to. I can only imagine what was going through her mind as the Psychologist gave her testimony.

This guy knows it's about Johnny, he is giving veiled responses, but he can't fully deny it wasn't. This, in relation to the defamation, is the most damning evidence. If he loses this case at this point, it's a gross misconduct on the judicial system.

When he refers to the op-ed as an "ad" I believe this is a Freudian slip. He just got finished testifying that Amber wanted the op-ed released right after the release of Aquaman. The timing of the op-ed release would give more attention to her and to her subsequent endeavors. It made her relevant for that time period and put her in the spotlight, thus bringing eyes to the film. That makes it a form of advertisement. I think the psychologist's assessment that she has histrionic personality traits/disorder are spot on. edit: This is not to say that she did not have motives of destroying Johnny. I think it was 2 birds with 1 stone. She is conniving and calculated and saw an opportunity to A) make herself a victim at a time in our society where being a victim is the highest social status one can achieve, B) destroy her ex-husbands life and career, and C) further her own career by boosting the sales of her film.

We all knew it was about him. It's good that there's evidence to proof it. Johnny's one lucky guy. This guy fought the battle of his life, the fight brought him this far. I hope he wins. She and her lawyers should have seen this coming. There's proof everywhere to support the opposite of her claims. Why did she allow it to come this far. She should have just admitted her faults, apologised and taken a hiatus. At this point she did this to herself

1. The op-Ed was about Johnny 2. The make up her lawyers showed in their opening statement did not exist at the time they claim she used it to conceal her wounds. The company that makes it confirmed on Instagram that it was released almost a year after their divorce. 3. Multiple witnesses said they never saw any bruises, swelling or marks. 4. She’s emotionally abusive, we all heard it. As of current evidence, if Johnny loses now, it would be a great injustice. Let’s see what happens when she and her witnesses take the stand.

the way she’s been sitting there with the same exact expression on her face, just hearing all these testimonies, calmly and deadpan, is truly fascinating and concerning most of all. Truly CANNOT wait for her to take the stand and finally come to terms with the narcissism and imputing dishonesty she’s quilted.
