Amberley Museum Narrow Gauge Railway

After originally planning to visit Amberley in October I found out that the running day on the 13th September could be former Isle of Man resident Polar Bear's only running of 2020 and unusually she would be working a train of skip wagons. So I headed to West Sussex.
Enjoying the glorious September sunshine Polar Bear was operating alongside Fowler diesel 0.4.0 Peldon on the passenger services with a Rapier diesel shunter and battery electric loco on another skip wagon train.
As-well as the locomotives operating on the railway there was some miniature traction engines were parading up and down the site.

Great video, I’m on the Polar Bear brake van with my dog, glad someone got it for the record! I’m driving Peldon at the end too. Thanks for capturing our impromptu industrial day, hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks. Very well behaved dog to quite happily sit with you and go up and down. Yes was a very nice days filming I do like visiting Amberley now and again especially if polar bear is running

Good video. I went there about 10 years ago, a really interesting place, but it has obviously got much bigger now. If you get a chance check out the Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway in Kent, when they have one of their running days.

Thanks. It is a nice set up there lots of stuff to see. I have visited bredgar a number of times and filmed there twice once on a normal running day and on there end of season gala they should be in my playlists if your interested.

Thanks i do like something a little different now and again. She was one of the original 2 groudle locos came over when the line closed.

@@D9019 yer they are back running not sure about the groudle glen. They actually have one of each over there sea lion is original and they had just finished a replica called brown bear
