It is nice to hear the bell ringing. I had read somewhere that this means that another online player has just rung the bell at the undead parish.

This is true! I also read on Illusory Wall that the same function was added to Quelaag's bell for the remaster.

You should make a version with firelink music as well.

Thanks Robert, I will keep that in mind! I had a hard time deciding about whether to include the music in this one, so it actually phases in and out during the hour. You can first hear it around 6:30.

I would love to see the firekeeper in the prison shot, it does add to the melancholy a lot...but I wanna say thanks for these vids regardless, you seem to be doing great, I've seen different variatons of this in the past but nowhere as nearly gentle as yours. Usually, they take a "mix" of music, showcase the same 3 scenes in a loop, no sound FX for the ambience, so on. You've done it all, it does actually transport me there for a bit. It's different when you play, but considering the fact that I am now at work in my office, this is a good reminder of what I appreciate.

Thanks very much for your kind words! I've tried to hit a decent balance between music and ambient noise, and the changing scenery is a must-have for me. Having these on in the background at work is the very reason I started doing this haha.

It's gotta be this one right here--Firelink Shrine. Felt more like home than any area in the series. The relief of coming back here after barely escaping a dangerous part of the game like Blighttown and the music kicking in...so good. how about you?
