I couldn't watch more the like a minute of this because for some reason even though I barely started school in the 90's was just overwhelmed with fond memories of no worries, just sitting playing pokemon gold/silver, playing n64 and listening to all the awesome music back then. it was like I was having a nostalgic overload
My high school experience was similar to this and I graduated last year so I don't think it has anything to do with the times it just has to do with the high school youre in, the people, and the environment.
What's this? High school that's..cool? I'm a junior in high school now and I hate it. I wish I went to high school in the 90's. :( I mean no Facebook, no phones, it's wonderful!
1016dantheman sophomore here is I’m sad I couldn’t expirence the 90s high school 18 to 21 is the worst generation I do anything to go back to simpler times too much drama nowadays but I know how you feel keep strong 💪
I was born in 2000, so this is pretty old for me! I just missed the 90s. But it kinda seemed pretty normal to me! This was how elementary school was for me, except we had computer, promethean boards and just stayed in one class...
Soul Queen same born in 2002 man looking at this makes me hate school nowadays people were just out of no where boom “ hey” I wish teens were still like that
Wow cool seeing this in 2020 😂 literally everyone talked back then and it looks so much better than now, everyone’s just in their phones now it’s sad :(
I'm glad that even though you never experienced the 90's, you still realize how much better music (and everything else) was in the 90's compared to now.
I remember sitting in that cafeteria and plotting a trip to Chernobyl back in 1986. The classroom that guy was going into was Mr. Whyle's classroom. Ms. Ritchie was across the hall.
Honestly doesn't look much different than today. Just a different time, with different things that are popular influencing culture, but the way people act (and honestly dress) is still so similar it's really interesting. It shows you how important it is to look at past and upcoming generations of people (how they talk and interact with one another etc) and learn from the their accomplishments and more importantly their mistakes. Then you can shove it up your butt... (if u know what this is from thank you for existing) No but seriously apply those failures to yourself and make damn sure you never do them. Who knows this entire comment can be a failure haha
Lol Dominique seemed like she was "that girl" in the high school lol you know the girl everyone has a crush on? The girl all the boys likes to mess with? Lmao
Y'all saying "i wish i was in HS in the 90s or 80s." "90s and 80s were so perfect " Not everything was so good back then. You had to do outdoor chores to go out to parties with friends. If you did something bad at school, you had to sit on a bucket of peas, get hit by a wood ruler.
What’s important to note is that back then there were no smartphones or social media back then so kids were most likely gonna succeed in life. Now I kind of doubt if the education system is gonna work cause there are 6 year olds walking around with note 9s or iPhone X’s
That's real interesting because American test scores have actually remained pretty steady. Kids don't behave any differently now than they did back then, they just have more yechmo and opportunities
I graduated from ambridge in 2011 and I must say that the new High school sucks would've rather stayed in the old school for more than one semester which was fall of 07 back in 9th grade
@sublimerulz1 Ah, just hang in there! I'd recommend to try the things you want to try this year that way, if you like them, you still have three years to keep doing them. I'm in my senior year right now and there are some things that I wish I had tried. Don't worry about messing up here and there from time to time; we're all human, we all mess up =]. I hope that you get an awesome high school experience!
Look at the schools now it's like dress code doesn't even exist anymore and what is in the school juices now a days because kids now be looking better than adult!
i'll agree with you new kids we didn't had bitch fights and cellphones instead you had regular phones and payphones back then back in lated 80's and early 90's the woman where much better and sweeter back then.I'm 80's child born 1980 todays new generation it's just horrible these days it's like getting worst every year.
