My heart warrior gets in her 4th ambulance of the year :’(

Mum, Jade-Marie here! I feel our little family is super special as not only was I told I could not have children, and then had my beautiful Dawn-louise, I was told my daughter having half a heart meant she wouldn’t live a long and happy life, well, these vlogs go to show how strong a heart warrior she really is! 👊🏻 Half A Heart, Not Half A Life ❤️ #hypoplasticleftheartsyndrome #chd #congenitalheartdefects

I'm a nurse and you are so knowledgeable about what is going on with your little girl. What really got me was when you said she was scared but couldn't cry because she knew it drops her oxygen saturation and the fact that she missed her Christmas performance😭Its so different there in the states every nurse and doctor has to know how read the EKG. Throwing up water probably made her dehydrated which made her not pee and dehydration also makes us very thirsty which is probably why she drank so much juice? You are so strong. I'll say it again. I hope you got some good sleep. Sending lots of love. Thank you so much for really breaking down what happened and her health situation. The best thing that happened to me today was your comment on my channel telling me that your precious girl was watching my videos during this crazy scary time. It will probably be the best thing that has happened to me in a long time to come

lentina lum lentina lum she is very smart when it comes to understanding all aspects of her condition and safe care, it’s something an 8 year old really shouldnt have to worry about but I’m so glad she handles it as well as she does, she was taking these slow deep breaths, without even needing to be reminded too.. she’s a brave and smart cookie It does really such we missed the performance, but I’m hoping the fun we had over the weekend will make up for it in terms of happy christmas memories :) They all know how to read an ecg, but because Dawn-louise’s heart is “abnormal” they couldn’t tell what was normal for her.. thankfully the specialist hospital got back to them in the same day :) Yeah that was what i was thinking too, but she stopped going to the bathroom before she started being sick so the nurse told me that may not have been the cause, still waiting on test results for that Aww bless you! Well I’m glad we were able to make you feel as happy as you did us :) Have a wonderful day ☺️

Omg - this brought tears to my eyes - your coping very well - keep your chin up . Hopefully it’s a one off - DIANE had a pacemaker fitted in 2000 as she was in heart block but because of the heart defect she needs a heart transplant as the heart is eventually going to get weaker. The good thing that happened that day was Diane managed to get to Meadowhall and saw the Steel heart that her name is going to be engraved on.

Cleggfamilyoffour a bit like Dawn-louise, her heart is expected to tire and her life expectancy is 14 due to this, her odd of getting a transplant are slim but if she doesn’t end up with any other organs damaged she may be a candidate Our fellow HLHS friend and youtuber (clover HLHS) had a pacemaker fitted when she was in secondary school so we at least have someone to take experience from if we go down that route too.. I hope diane gets her new heart when needed ❤️ That is great! Its quite something isn’t it! :)
