This is what we use in Maryland, but setup for 2 pts if needed & are operates by Maryland State Police. They fly medevac, police calls, search & rescue & in Baltimore were I'm located, it runs a lot seeing we are blessed to home of Univ of MD Shock Trauma Center. THE state forks out tons of money to keep the 5 helos(each stationed at diff airports thru the state) plus b/u's running thruout the state, aval 24/7 unless down for weather, free of chg to any pt being transported. @@BillBlast7372 greetings from a little north of Easton airport where I see Troopers 6 and 4 fly by a lot. If you see a yellow and black PHI Air Medical EC 135 over Balto it may be my flight nurse niece up there. They’re based at Martin airport just above Balto same as Trooper 1.

She also volunteers on an ambulance for a FD over here on the shore and loves it, including setting up LZs for MSP helos like you enjoyed. Thank YOU for all your volunteer service!! I love hearing first responders stories but I get woozy at the sight of blood 😬 and could never do that work myself. This is what the Maryland State Police uses for law enforcement and HEMS. Ive flown with them from scenes several times. Its like working on a patient in a school bus. They replaced their EC355 Dauphins with this to be able to do everything. A long way from Bell 206's
