Hello. Can you please help me clear my doubt? I have done my Mbbs from India and currently doing pg in China which I will finish by next year. If I want to work in Australia which registration pathway should I be following?
Please, I do have a question, or require clarification on this: It sounds like you mentioned that someone with experience will not have to write the AMC exam? What kind of experience are you talking about? For example, I am a non-specialist general practitioner aka medical officer IMG, with at least 5 years of continuous practice in my country, interested in relocating to Australia. It would seem that you mention that someone like me would be exempted from the AMC. Or, did I not get that correctly? If so, what do I have to do, please?
Hello, First of all a very nice explanation. I am an MBBS graduate from Ukraine and have 4 years of clinical experience from India. How can I go ahead with this process. Can you please explain. Thank You.
Hi! Thank you for your video. Very helpful. But I still have some questions. I'm an IMG graduated in 2010 in Ukraine. Do I have any opportunities in Australia or do I have to take AMC1?

Hi I ihave been going through the website and i came across folloeing info aboutcompetent pathway category A according to which what i understand is that u donot need to give AMC even if u have not given MRCP ((Requirements for eligibility for the Competent authority pathway Category A UNITED KINGDOM General Medical Council (GMC) Successful completion of the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) test since 1975, AND : • successful completion of the Foundation Year 1, or • 12 months supervised training (internship equivalent) in the United Kingdom, or • if the 12 months supervised training (internship equivalent) is completed in another Board approved competent authority country, approved by that competent authority.)) Please explain if what i am thinking is correct or not ?!
hi i am a gynaecologist in India for the past 8yrs and have got PR in aus, would like to know if i need to go through AMC pathway before going for GP training. i am going through the specialist pathway in RANZCOG,and not sure if they would declare my degree as comparable,in that case if i have to start from scratch,do i need to give AMC part 1 and 2 before i enter into training? followed by the house job?
In competent pathway , freshly graduated peoples can go Uk and do plab 1&2 and getting GMC registration after that directly go to Australia without doing AMC can work in Australia?

Hi thank you so much for making this video. When I checked on the AMC website, to see if my medical school is eligible by AMC or not. Then I clicked on "country" and after that a list of medical schools were came. In the list my medical school was also there. Does this mean that my medical school is eligible for AMC registration?
I gave my usmle exams and ECFMG certified for that....did 6 months of electives and observership over there in usa and 1 yr of research....but didn't get the residency in usa.... Ques. 1) so my question is if I am ECFMG certified from USA do I still hv to give AMC exam and again get ECFMG certified..... and also I have started my anesthesia residency in India... will be completed in next two years.... Ques.2) so should i go for speciality pathway or standard pathway....which pathway will be better to get anaesthesia residency over dere....and how much time it will take to be a anaesthesist over dere( as for example u told 9 yrs for surgery and 5 years for general practitioner)
Same here.. I am ecfmg certified but don have step 3.. now am an ophthalmologist in India.. want to apply through specialist pathway.. want to know my chances..
