With the same setting, my Ultra 5 125H in 20 watts is giving 40 FPS in this area and Lunar Lake is coming with 40% to 50% better performance in iGPU and has 25% better single core than my ULTRA 5 125H.
To avoid complains about a higher AMD cTDP (despite ARC running mostly at max GPU clocks), I've reduced the HX 370's cTDP from ~60 Watts to 17 Watts. The overlay is scalled differnently, resolutions are the same for both GPUs/recordings
Not only a huge fps difference, those frame times are so much more consistent on the Ryzen APU. I’m shocked Intel still hasn’t got their drivers in a better state.

This is crazy either of them can even run these sort of games now whether it's decent or just ok because it's only going to get better in the future. Soon my toothbrush will be able to run crysis lmao. Oh ya and this must be really good for battery life too. Imagine in 5 years when these igpu are even better and use less power and hopefully we actually have better battery technology in mainstream electronics like good solid state batteries. Maybe could actually game on laptop on battery for 10+ hours that would be crazy.
Can you please repeat this test with equivalent laptops for consistency? Like the Zeyphrus G16 GA605 (Ryzen 9 HX 370 + LPDDR5X-7500) and G16 GU605 (Core Ultra + LPDDR5X-7467)?
This just goes to show how important the memory is for mobile products. Switch 1 has a tiny memory bus (64 bit) and slow memory (25GB/s) and also a lack of memory (4GB). If all they did is upgrade to a 128 bit bus, ram speed would jump to 50GB/s. Upgrade from LPDDR4 to LPDDR5 and you'd get double the speed there also, so 100GB/s. 4 times higher overall. Then give us 16GB of ram for the nicest textures possible. Trying to brute force speed doesn't work, the Ryzen AI laptop costs $2464 after tax in Canada. Can't play Tomb Raider, an Xbox 360 era game, at max settings and 60fps. Need ram speed.
@@g00dl00kinb0i you can replace RAM on the Intel system and it is a major difference on those already bandwidth starved iGPUs. This comparison is totally worthless.
