I have the original mya. Biggest issue is with the lithium polymer battery- it doesn't retain a charge. Noticed a lot of cimilre pumps have this battery (cost?) Instead if lithium ion. Also, is hygeia fit also the same cimilre f1/mya? Looks awfully familiar 🤔
I took some time looking into this- there is not a clear issue with the type of battery as each type has benefits and drawbacks. The Ameda Mya had a known battery issue but it isn’t necessarily because of the type of battery. I suspect that it was a matter of quality or a design flaw in that particular pump.
