A few things I forgot to point out that I can remember off the top of my head: - In the ancient timeline section on my timeline, I forgot to mention the addition of the sungazers lore from sonic superstars, but I have the mural on the timeline listed under "A long time ago" due to there being no set time of when the sungazers sealed the black dragon away in the black onyx. - I completely left off the black arms invading Earth like 2,000 years ago. I'm pretty sure Black Doom drops this lore early in Shadow's game so...oops. - I forgot to mention black knight but it's on the timeline after zero gravity but before colors
While i haven't played the games, looking at the cutscenes and the wiki, it doesn't seem like sonic formally meet Eggman Nega in Rivals, only meeting him in Rush. so could rivals possibly be put after the Rush games as he would still be able to know him from those games, but didn't know he was involved to begin with thanks to his disguise tricking sonic into believing his plans were truly Eggmans or just not believing Eggmans telling the truth?
Towards the end of Rivals 2, Sonic & Tails see Eggman Nega in the haunted mansion, but they believe it's Eggman being possessed. Tails says that while this person does resemble Eggman, they had a different look. I'm assuming, that for whatever reason, Eggman Nega had decided to do away with his costume. He does reveal himself to some of the other characters around the same time in the mansion. The interesting thing is though, Tails makes that comment before Sonic guesses that Eggman was possessed. For Tails & Sonic to not instantly recognize that its Eggman Nega despite seeing & knowing what he looks like from the rush games doesn't make sense. To be fair, there were some pretty bad writing inconsistencies in this little pocket of Sonic games from 05-07. Much worse than some other inconsistencies that can be pointed out, but ignored or explained in some way in other sonic games.

Again, I have to laugh at the mention of Sonic Prime. Im not gonna tell anyone else to not have it on their own timeline because we're just having fun with this stuff. I'm aware that it's being considered canon, but I haven't watched the show myself & I'm not going to. From my understanding, the inconsistencies in that show are so perplexing that it's a bit of a hassle to put it anywhere that makes enough sense. I've seen people put it before lost world but after gens, after lost world etc. Now, if you told me that Sonic Prime took place in a universe parallel to the mainline games instead of being part of the main timeline, I'd like that idea. For now, though? LMAOOOO

@@DellStarX I would personally move Black Knight to 1 slot before that to be right after Unleashed because in that game, you can agree to go on a date with Amy after Sonic saves the world and the after credits scene of Black Knight is Sonic running away from an angry Amy for missing the date(he also has 2 chili dogs at the start of that game). Your placement also works if she decides to delay the date thanks the stuff happening in Riders Zero Gravity.
The company that owned the Neo-Geo pocket color went bankrupt like a year or two after that game released & the game has been caught up in a whole rights fiasco because of that. Ian has stated that SEGA told him the game is "off limits"
I'm unsure why Ian Flynn and the IDW comics are being considered here. Ian is a comic book writer *exclusively* and has stated that the comics are "inspired" by the games (unless he's changed his mind on that *again*, he is very inconsistent and unreliable in most cases). The reason why I believe the IDW comics cannot be considered canon is because there is no reference of Tangle or other IDW characters within the Japanese version of Frontiers (English subtitles don't count as they just show the English script and not a literal translation of the dialogue) and the Tangle line was probably added because Ian was working on the script. Meaning that just because they are considered to be taking place within the game's continuity, does not mean they are canon. I would say they are more supplemental for in-between major game releases.
Characters from the comics are literally talked about by sonic himself in Sonic frontiers. Ian also helped write Frontiers btw. Im pretty sure Sonic Team's lore management has acknowledged the comics to be canon anyway, so this seems like a pointless gripe to have.
