I remember watching this with my mom and dad in the living room when I was a like 5 or 6 I guess. So did the "America's Funniest" just solely higher people from Full House or...?
Of all of the funny clips they ever played on America's Funniest People,The Jackalope clips were always my favorite ones to watch as a child. Such great childhood memories.
LOL oh I was just talking with my dad about the Jackalope head” he used to have this “stuffed jackalope head” and he would put his shirt over his head and put the jackalope head in his shirt and chase my sister and I around the house lol truly hilarious childhood memories lol
so funny. i searches for this video because i randomly remembered my younger brother having nightmares about it and crying if i pretended to do the voice. so random that it's terrifying for some reason. creeps me out too, but not sure why.
I had waking nightmares of this thing. I was about 5 when this show came out and would always see a shadowy darker version of it in my doorway whenever I would try to go to sleep. Glad I'm not alone this thing was certainly nightmare fuel.
Oh how I fondly remember the Jackalope skits. One year for Christmas Santa brought me my very own mounted Jackalope and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. As I type this I look at the very same Jackalope I received for Christmas and cannot help but smile :)
As a young boy, the Jackalope was a really funny series of clips (the only reason I watched this goofy show). Looking back as an adult, this clip is pretty dumb. On the plus side, it helped me spend my formative years practicing the voice that would become Gollum.
90s amusement was very corny now that you look back at old shows commercials and movies but the Jackalope was the only reason I would watch this show as a kid also.
+Ryan Albarelli You're right, I was super young when I saw these and they made me bust a gut every time I saw them. They're still fun today, but the sheer amount of early 90s corniness just hasn't aged well.
So wait- Gollum is an evil jackalope? I see it. XD I grew to like mythology and stuff, and I think one of the things that heavily influenced that was this series of clips. And as dumb as they are in retrospect, it's a nostalgic lovable kind of dumb XD
Still can't believe Dave Coulier is the guy that inspired Alanis Morrisette to write "You Oughta Know". The jackalope guy was getting head in a theater from her. Cold world, I tell ya...
@@learntonganwithandrew It's one of those things that a quick google shows could possibly maybe be true but just as easily could possibly maybe be about 5 or 6 others people
This was the first imitation voice I learned when I was a kid, I use it to torment my father to this day, that's why he always insists I follow him when we're driving.
There is no excuse for quality, as this is where it should be. VHS videos shouldnt be tampered with in my opinion. And with this quality, only helped relive the memories of eons past. Thank you for returning the creature that both scared the shit out of me, and made me laugh. Edit: Removed Edit. Edit-2: Does anyone know if they remade the Jackalope at all? Its been quite the while since I watched this show.
Wow. When this show was on TV, this was amusing to me as a little kid. (I was like 3 when it premiered and 6 or 7 when it went off air) But looking back now as a 25 year old, this was pretty awful. Still, I can see how I thought this was amusing as a child.
