Voice like that.... you can find in every neighborhood in the Philippines with Videoke machine. She wont even win in any Amateur Singing contest in any Barangay (village) in the Philippines. I mean, she's good, but not that good by Philippine standards.
She is not just a singer. To sing is not about power, although she has it. She makes it intimate, she embraces everybody with her voice and interpretation. A rare talent. Let's us deserve her.

Angelina has been a star in Scandinavia ever since her win in 2014 - I have watched her and loved her performances ever since I saw her first audition. This exposure to mainstream North American audiences is going to change her life dramatically - I think she is about to become a world-wide star.
@@strongangel No, well it depends on which aspect you're referring to. There are female singers out there with more power and more spectacular sounding singing voices: Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Glennis Grace (Whitney Houston, well the songs she sang while still among the living). But Angelina's vocal technique seems to be on par with Mariah Carey and she sings exceptionally well. It's just her voice that isn't quite up there with the best of the best.

Try "It's a Man's World" first; you seem to think the best singers are defined by belting and hitting the high notes. Listening to Angelina sing this classic will show you her 5+ octave vocal range and maybe change your mind.

Don't count on it. Angelina has her own record label and an album coming out. She can't/won't sign with Simon's label Syco. So don't be surprised if she doesn't win.

Im a 40 year old metal head. I dont listen to pop music but I watched Angelinas performance in Noway many years ago and have always kept and eye out for her. So good to see the world is now noticing but with that comes its own challenges.
