In the beginning of the season, Raina was one of my favorites and stayed that way through the entire season. Krista became my favorite in the middle of the season, simply because she didn't start off strong AND she was one of Angelea's friends. When she did the fake designer clothes shoot, that's when I started to like her. I'm happy for Krista.
love u guys the reason all 6 girls need to be in the final fashion show is because it would be impossible to get the whole crowd & staff into confidentiality agreements about who made final 2. xoxo
Thank you guys for the recaps! It was better to see your work, than the show. (It was strange this season - I think, the girls weren't really beautiful, unique, almost all of them just were like the girl next door - not amasing, like in other cycles. Neither of them did great. The photoshoots weren't inspiring at all. What happened to the photographers and the stylists, or the editor? Tired of the show?) @sweetXxcandyXx but if you think about it...they are probably thinking its better to put the Final 5 in the Runway show to throw off people on who really is the FINAL 2 for Spoiler Sakes..but what they don't realize is..ANTM is always spoil very early in the season...so they need to do a better job with leaking out info
Did anyone notice how Tyra's face was orange? It was glowing, kinda funny. At the beginning i dont think anyone thought Krista was going to win, but she pulled through. Raina was great at the beginning, i was rooting for her even before episode 1, but she did have issues with body proportion and walk. Both girls had really great strengths, and i know both will be successful. I like them both, so i am satisfied with this cycle, unlike many before it.
Yeah, I think Krista did everything "right" in the Top Model world to win. I think she deserved it too, because she really is a good model and I feel like agencies might have turned her away due to her age, so this gave her that chance. But I also think that Raina will get lots of work afterward. She's just too stunning!
I agree that Krista probably deserved to win, and it wasn't very much of a surprise, especially seeing as she had the best photo 4 weeks in a row. HOWEVER, I love love love Raina and I just wanted her to win so she could say something adorable like "Oh my lanta!"
@DeliriousGoomba i agree..this cycle was pretty weak compared to the 1st 10 cycles. BUT the final 2 models were actually the strongest-and LOOKED like they could be working models-finalist that top model has had for a long time. but for me it seems like this season was pretty long cuz it seemed like FOREVER ago since the casting orthe first few eppisodes!
@rainbreezeandblue wow u hit the nail on the head. I was trying to figure out how Raina was Krista in that aspect of the competition. Krista amazed me cuz she came outta no where and vlew past any1 and she just got better & better...
@cherryyoutubah LOL. That doesn't mean she should then discriminate against stick-thin models. Like it or not, Krista has a very edgy editorial look and she has the perfect body for runway. Raina isn't big by all means, but she needs some toning for sure if she wants to do runway.
It was a pretty excellent final 2. I think Laura and Nicole were just as good. But apart from cycle 13, I think Krista and Raina were the best final two in a long time!
Krista definitely deserved to win. I didn't like her at the start but seeing her grow and transform just won me over. She is such a great high fashion model. I thought it was sweet that Andre was crying when she won! Btw I don't understand what Raina was doing in the finale...when tyra called her i was like "what u talking bout willis?" I thought it would be alex(even though i hate her) or angelea. Oh well the best girl won
I'm a Krista fan, thought she took some sick photos at the end and had a better walk and body than Raina, who's a tad boxy for runway... Krista's hilarious but kinda mean, but mostly hilarious
I thought it was really predictable who the judges wanted to win! espically the new judge. I loved raina! but krista is awsome as well they both have promising carrers ahead
Did you say "Dreck" at the end of the vlog? lol Raina may not have won, but she's still fierce and will prove to the judges that they made the wrong choice! =D I agree that Krista looks better with the Dionne hair, and she looked much different in her Seventeen mag cover! What was up with that dreck wig she wore on the runway? I agree that Alasia and Angelea didn't deserve to walk in the fashion show. =P I'd say that Eva/Yaya and Caridee/Melrose were some of the best top 2 in ANTM.
HAHAHA it so funny how most people wanted Raina to win because she was nice and sweet.... Honestly I loved her because of that too, only that…. but I loved Krista….. she was funny (sometimes) and I think she deserved it because she fought hard each week to get better, which to me shows that she will do much better in this business than Raina will.... And fashion world is not about beauty, nice or sweet… it about how good you are…. You go Krista... and keep up the good job!!!!
@carolina10920 I just have to say, I was right all along. Hehehe. I knew it was going to be Krista or Alexandra. Krista always has great pictures and her walk is great. Raina also has great pictures (though not as strong) and a terrible walk that she should have worked on, especially after Krista won the runway challenge. That was a heads up for Raina. Opportunity lost for her, but she'll be a big star anyway. She might consider acting, too. She's good at memorizing her lines!

well, raina was my number one through the whole season, but Krista was close behind her, so i was glad when they both made it to the finale. But I would have wanted Raina to win over Krista.
The reason why eliminated girls go to the over seas destination and sometimes walk in the runway show is to throw off the audience so that the viewers won't find out who the Final 2 and Final 5 or 6 are.
Did she just pick Krista to break the every-third-cycle rule?? I really liked everyone and wasn't fussy, but Krista didn't have that wow factor for me. Anyways it sounds good can't wait to watch it.
The only thing that irked me a little about Krista - and it may have just been her edit - is how she made it alot about race in the last episode. Yes, black girls need to be told that they are beautiful. But when she's out there talking to kids like she said she wanted to, I hope she also tells white, Latina, mixed, and Asian girls that they are beautiful too. Because she's gorgeous and strong enough to transcend skin colour, and I don't think role models should be based just on ethnicity.
I agree with you guys the girls were the strongest finalists we have had for a long while im glad krista won she wanted this and i do like raina but there is a slight whiff of fake ass about her but she is breathtakingly beautiful. wat is up with judging panel we need miss j back but am getting to like alt more miss j next cycle!
@babbina Yea, I'm not an expert on fashion by any means, but to me, Alexandra has the perfect body for plus-size girls. I think she would really do well in that industry. Raina, as a skinny model, needs a lot of work on her body. I don't think she needs to lose weight per say, but she needs to tone up the jiggly parts, b/c that is a no-go on runway. Right now, she can only do photos.
@asianlauf yea.. i was thinking the same abt Reina unfrotunately. Takes stunning photos, but body? eh... Alex as a "plussie", has a way better bankable body and says alot for the fasion industry...
@debby1111111111 I agree, she got better and better week after week, its like she came outta nowhere mid-way thru the competition! I dont think any ANTM contestant ever done that. Angela would've been stnding next to her if she kept on doing her thang lol
@kanbantus yea raina and krista are great amazing models, but 4 sum reason Angelea was my fave, maybe cuz I can relate to her more and felt like she really truly wanted this more... but she'll be fine career-wise since she booked 6 out of 6 go sees. She just needs to remain confident and not feel threatened when sum1 else (ahem Krista) is fierce competition.
oh i really wish Raina won. I really dont think Krista should of, one reason because her body is just gross skinny and Tyra is always talking about top models being a role model to girls and she will just make girls think you have to be that gross skinny! Raina was the best! And i dont know why the other girls were hating on her for being friendly. Also, i didnt really care for this cycle, i liked some of the girls but i dunno, maybe it was too short or sommik.

I WANT raina to win, however, krista is just too good, and it is really what ANTM is, so i am a little disappointed, but i think no wrong decision made.
I'm from MN, so I was rooting for Raina. But I agree...Krista was the best. And Tyra's onesies??? OH man! That was DRECK. ALL season...hopefully this will not happen next season...
i either wanted krista or angelea to win so im happy. would have liked to have seen alexandra in the final two aswell but, ah well :) i'm happy with the winner, despite this cycle being totally boring, and why did they eliminate all the decent girls really early? gabrielle..ren..tatianna..what was with that? guttttted. i hope cycle 15 is of a higher standard cause 14 sucked :)
I am sory, but lets face it Krista, you should be in Ethiopia trying 2 get people 2 pay u 4 food 4 little kids. Raina is my favorite top model EVER and she should have WON!
nooo krista only got stronger in the final weeks, she was mean and not really attractive, i don't see her doing anything like all the previous winners, she is way too old
i guess nicole was almost a shoe-in the whole season in cycle 13, it wouldve been too obvious if raina won. happy this shit cycle is over. sending ren, nadua and gabrielle home first. boring shoots. awful, unneccesary drama. idiotic winner. this cycle is going in the repression box.
@ninepplsfavegay (cont.) krista made fun of EVERYBODY along with angelea. and she had a rude demeanor about her......... danielle cycle 6, simone cycle 14, nik and ebony cycle 5, cassandra cycle 8, joslyn cycle 11, and a few others were also "strong opinionated black women" without being obnoxious in the process. also, i dont care about the uber bubbly girl winning, i rooted for the best pictures: melrose, jenna cycle 9, yaya.... hardly the "sweet girls". but i agree about the tiring.
