My wife and I are from the UK, we were staying in the Orlando area in September 2018. We drove up to St Augustine and spent two nights there, we loved it, such a great and relaxing place. Also saw a magnificent Atlantic sunrise by a fire station on the coastal road. Loved it and will return.
When I lived in Florida for a number of years, we would always take school trips down to St. Augustine and see the Castillo de San Marcos. Glad to see you're getting to explore it too!
I live in Florida and I believe that next time you should hit up Cedar Key, Panama City Beach, Tampa, Tallahassee and Key west. Each are incredible city with different types of environments that make each city special.

I came here when I searched what kind of videos RU-vid had on my hometown. Lol, some of this information I didn’t even know. I’ve lived here my whole life, born and raised. My family was actually part of the original Minorcan families that settled here. Our name is on a statue downtown. The pirates are annoying lol, annnnd I absolutely love that coffee shop. I worked at the best western right behind it and would walk through the laundry room to go get a coffee or a smoothie. I’m so glad to see people appreciate our old little city. Go Auggie Babies! 💖

I road tripped across Florida a few years ago and somehow I missed St. Augustine, even though I started in Jacksonville. Beautifully shot and it makes me want to do it again. It'd also be cool to visit since I currently live in the oldest city in the Netherlands, so it'd be awesome to visit another old city. Thanks!

In St Augustine my favorite thing was a simple stroll across the Bridge of Lions with a cigar during which I was stopped so the bridge could be raised to allow several vessels to pass. Several of the ships were decorated extensively for Christmas. Also behind me the city was beautifully decorated for the night of lights. Across the bridge from downtown is a 4 sided monument adjacent to the lions dedicated to Freedom, Democracy, Human Rights, & Compassion. I recommend you go and find!

St. Augustine is a favorite road trip of mine. Next time your in Florida come to the west coast Clearwater/ Tarpon Springs and then head up to Silver Springs.
I've been to Miami which is also wonderful place but I didn't know that how amazing the other parts of Florida are! I was also skeptical about ghosts but now I definitely "believe" lol
Loved St. Augustine so underrated as a travel destination which is why you should go it is at the beginning of Florida.easy to get to extremely easy to get around not a heavy amount of traffic. Get the most bang for your buck
My partner and I were just in Saint Augustine on October 19th, took a day trip north from the Treasure Coast. We totally fell in love with the city, especially with its historic Spanish heritage. The highlight was the Castillo de San Marcos and Flagler College. Hope to one day go back to explore more of the city.

Just discovered you guys and so happy to see a video highlighting St. Augustine! We first went there 6 years ago bc we knew someone that owned a condo there. Had no idea how awesome the place is and absolutely fell in LOVE with it! You guys are great-knowledgeable and really fun to watch!

I grew up in Jax Bch, about half an hour north of St. A. We used to go down there all the time. I live in another state now, and sometimes I get really homesick--esp in the winter.
You guys should of driven A1A from st aug to Jax. Then grabbed the ferry and checked out more parks and a beach you can drive on. I live in Neptune Beach. BTW Jax is the largest city in the US and has the most parkland.

Yes! We have great craft beer in Florida (somewhat makes up for the crazy shit here that goes down on the reg, or at the very least helps us forget about it). Also, Jax and St. Augustine are my homes away from home, so thank you for spotlighting these two cities that I love. You should come back and visit the Emerald Coast, too. Unfortunately there's not much surfing to be done, Alex, but the water is gorgeous.

Your video was super helpful this past week for me! I was in St. Augustine for 2 days and hit up the ghost tour and the tapas place Michael's. Great recommendations! I can't believe you even found michael's, it's so small and doesn't stand out at all...so on Pedro Menendez, he founded the town and established the Spanish rule there, forcing other european settlers who were there before to obey the Spanish crown or to simply die
I was born and raised in Florida and recently moved to CT. It's cool to see you experience all these things I have also seen and done but took for granted. I was so focused on leaving Florida and traveling to other places that now I wish I would've taken the time to truly enjoy the wonderful things Florida had to offer. (Btw if you wanted to go surfing, Daytona beach is where it's at)

You need to come to visit Mississippi. Cities like vicksburg, Shiloh, and Corinth have so much history. We also have a petrified forest that is really cool!

I only remember seeing the video where you guys went to an extremely fancy art showcase and visited the Art Deco District. I've only passed through Miami to get to the Florida Keys before. If I ever get to go and visit Miami, I gotta check out that district, it looks amazing! Gonna go binge watch now
