At the time this was heartbreaking to see the Blue Angels and THunderbirds doing this good will tour. Now looking back it feels like we were all "taken for a ride", by a huge nefarious group of evil persons within our own Government who only had 1 goal ----- Steer the Future with FEAR to erode civil liberties due to an existential crisis. I wish we had put up more resistance then, with what many of us felt was drastic overreach.

I have a question: Do the ground crew for the Thunderbirds have a purpose with all the hand flapping, or is there a meaning to all the hand signals? Thanks Airailimages for these videos.

It's all meticulously choreographed, constantly and continually practiced, and dramatically emphasized with a little bit of a personal flare. They are basically speaking to the pilots in a special sign language. Flaps good, power up, your good to roll out, have a nice flight, all with the highest level of respect , precision and honor. Love these guys !
