Idrk why but I call my mom "mimi" in Chinese (usually in Chinese, it's like 妈妈{mama}, 妈咪{mami} but for some strange reason, I use 咪咪 😅 I think some ppl might call their nannies sth like that, but I've never known anyone who calls their mom anything similar) But I live in the UK, and it's not like I talk to her in English, so I've never rly had a set way of referring to her in English so...😂 sometimes it's my 'mother', my 'mom', my 'mum', or my 'mam' - depends on the mood?? I feel too British when I use 'mam' and too posh when I use 'mother' so I usually stick w/ mom/mum 😆
I swear to you, was on holiday and I met a Californian (or some such American that sounds like they live at a beach and have too much self importance) and she said “I hate it when people think I’m Canadian!” When her accent sounded nothing like how you’d think a Canadian sounds. Then, deadass, in the same fucking breath, asked me and my British dad if we were Australian. Americans are hopeless at accents That, and my reaction to the bank one was “if it’s too out of the way, why don’t you take a bus mate?” then I watched and realised it wasn’t that far, seems only 20 minutes there tbh. And also, why is there always seemingly a greggs by banks??

I don't know how it is really in England, but the part of "walking in public" is the same here in Italy...well not everyone of course, but for the most part it's accurate, at least in my town 😩
One incorrect thing though is the American walked to the mail box. At least where I live, that rarely happens. Even if your house in literally across or next to the mail box, I see people always driving to get their mail
Ahhh!! I am not american and not british and I made 2 or 3 picture of me in those phone booths. One hadn't had a phone anymore, only the cable😅 so I got another pic in another booth. And! They have a green one on London. Don't ask me where! I took a picture but not inside it. And...I should have tried dialing 62443😂
I...hate that the accent part is so real. Since my family came over from the UK, all but my uncle and dad have accents (they were little kids when they came over). So I have a Scottish accent I can do pretty accurately. I am a dancing monkey for people the moment they learn of my lineage and that my family's a bunch of immigrants. "Oh do they have accents? Can you do the accent? Please say something Scottish!" Oh I'll say something Scottish, *"Tha thu cho górach agus tha gràin agam ort,"* how about that?
😂😂 the mail box!!🤣🤣🤣 I can't! They drive everywhere so they need to at least walk for the mail?!😂😅 My mailbox is inside my house. I don't like it, but the house is old. We have 9 flats in the house, so I am on the second floor. I check the mailbox every day at least once, cos I walk by it anyways Edit: american milkyway is brown????😢 what is in there??
